I would definitely come back as it’s actually a motel that has been nicely updated. The breakfast had 2 things. A pancake machine and 2 choices of cereal. That’s it ! Staff was nice and friendly. When I checked in at 8 on a 100 degree day they didn’t run the air conditioner in any of the rooms it was so hot 3 hours later it was just getting to the high 70s in my room.

Appreciated the late check-in and easy check out. Simple room, white sheets clean, bed had old type bedspread on it that we removed. Bathroom faucet wasn’t clean but shower, toilet & counters clean. Later in the evening we found a small roach in the bathroom. He got away from us when trying to kill it so needless to say we didn’t sleep well. We skipped the shower & free breakfast the next morning.

Overall, the grounds of the hotel were very well kept and nice looking. Roos was pretty clean, but obviously, mopping happens and dirt residue is left on baseboards, making it look dirty.

I loved how quiet it was. It was perfectly clean. I also so appreciate a non corporate ambiance with different art in each room. The managers are lovely and very helpful. Its a much warmer and more personal experience that most motels provide. Bed was comfy, bath water was nice and hot! Its my favorite place to stay in Chico! Plus, its not over priced. I think many of us are tired of being gouged when we need a place to stay. Their pricing is very reasonable. Highly recommend it!! Great location with lovely landscaping too, and less than a mile to downtown Chico. Perfect!!
