Thank you for your stay

This is an old, rundown Howard Johnson's. To get to our room it was necessary to go out on a balcony and return into the building. I've never heard of this, and it certainly is not what we bargained for. We cancelled our room and took another hotel in the area.

disgraceful, not a hotel, but a shelter

We stayed for 3 nights with pre-paid, and had a horrible experience. First the elevator was on, when we arrived. But the staff in the front desk kept telling us it was fine. For 5 mins I was back and forth between a hallway, with 10 steps at most from the front desk, and the front desk, until someone else complained. The room was filled with cigarettes smell, and the fan was not working properly, and toilet paper was left a little, and bathroom had mold everywhere, and ...... The simplest breakfast was OK to me, but there were no serving utensils - everyone used his/her hand, clean and unclean, washed and unwashed, licked and unlicked, ......., to touch and move the mini-muffins, and bagels (staled) around to find your favor kinds.

Not a good stay

First of all, there was no coffee in the room as advertised. When I asked about the coffee in the room, I was told there is always fresh coffee in the lobby. Everytime I went for coffee there was none in there. Second problem was the free breakfast. There was nothing left by 7am. Both days I had to tell the front desk they needed to fill it up. Someone tossed ink on my car door in the parking lot. I asked them NOT to clean my room on the first day, because they will leave the door open and walk back to the storage room leaving my belongings open to anyone stealing it. They cleaned my room while I was out, then came by in the afternoon while I was napping to clean it AGAIN. Once was enough I thought. The free WiFi was not there either. I asked them to about it, and it never was fixed.

do not hand them your credit card!

I used online travel website to pre-pay the room, when arrived, I handed the card i used, when the clerk charged me again for the room! I reserved a King size bed, he gave me 2 doubles. When finally disputed double charge, the clerk would not give me a copy of the refund. When I entered my reserved King size room, the room had a terrible smell, some of the toiletries had been used, no hand towel, one towel and washcloth. It seem as another washcloth had been used. If you want a cheap quick stay then reserve, other than that I'd advise not to.

Review

The price was reasonable. But there was only one roll of toilet paper, no back-up, and the rod for it was missing. When it got wet, there was nothing to replace it. There were no tissues in the tissue box. Four of us were registered to the room, but there were only two bath towels - not enough. I appreciated the wi-fi, but there were not enough convenient plug-ins. There was no closed captioning on the television for the deaf.

Just like the reviews say, it's crappy....

I stayed there Sept. 13, 2008. I asked the manager did he see the reviews on travel online and he said he did not care about them. The place looks nice on the outside but that's where it end. My room had not been cleaned except for the bed made up and the bath cleaned. There was visible trash on the floor, there was trash in the can ( big pile of tabacco from a Blunt). The chair was so dirty I had to put the towel on it to sit on it. The remote did not work to change the chanel, only on/off and volume. On top of that the back was missing. The thing that really pissed me of was check out time is 12:00 noon. At 11:50 they bust on the door like a drung raid . Fortunately for them I was getting dressed or someone would have gotten an azz kicking. Thge ""free breakfast"" was equally as bogus. They had bagles and corn flakse. One container of OJ and one of milk. Only a few cups and it was not clean. It is run by Indians not Native Americans and they don't give a damm about keeping it clean. I guess when you come froma plaace with over 1 billion people and most of them poor anything is clean. Go across the street to the Residence Inn and pay a little more. Don't just take my word though, look at the other reviews .

Terrible!

We had 4 inches of mildew up the shower curtain and cigarette burns on the tub. Cigarette ashes were behind the bathroom door, and this was suppose to be a non smoking room. The chair looked like it came out of the dumpster and the furniture matched. The grill to the heat and air conditioner unit was missing. The entrance to the hotel had paint peeling off the doors, and they didn't even shut properly. Never again!
