Rooms are beautiful and quite charming. Everything very clean and staff is quite helpful. The breakfast menu choices with both Western style food and Thai food dishes was very nice. Excellent sticky rice with mango. The Americano coffees, cappuccinos and lattes were excellent. Lovely place to stay. You are greeted with a smile and made to feel welcome. Just a few steps from a Wot which is lovely to visit.

A very special antique and wooden boutique hotel with beautiful and quiet environment. Staffs were friendly and helpful with lots of smiles. We enjoyed the breakfast time there too. Many choices of food with unlimited supply.

It’s a clean, enjoyable stay close to the lively night time markets in Chiang Mai. The decor for the rooms are based in traditional Thai style which elevates the experience. Rooms are clean and service from the staff is good. They speak clear English and I enjoyed my stay here

Very relaxing and comfortable

The retreat was an excellent place to stay. The staff was incredible, the grounds were gorgeous and the room was quite nice. It was a little farther walk then I expected (doable, but took 10-15 minutes to get anywhere) but that is my only slight complaint. And there were always taxis available on the street, so it really was not a problem.

Great Hotel

The property is a historic old building in the older section of town which allows you to walk to many attractions. Room was really comfortable and the property was restored keeping the original structure while also ensuring that everything on site is up to a world class standard. We would not hesitate to book at the property again.

I love this hotel. Superb friendly staffs who dealt with my endless questions. Great locality minutes walk to night bazaar and lots and lots of massage. Great breakfast and cheap meal at the hotel if u r too tir3d of walking as well. Has a clean pool tho we did t get to use it, personally due to all the talk abt virus in asia during the time of our stay. Love the cozy patio to sip our tea outside the room as well.Only let down was the ac was super loud on the last night but we didnt have a chance to inform the hotel.

I loved my stay here so so much. The staff was so amazing and kind and everything was very clean. The setting was beautiful and felt like paradise. The breakfast was super delicious and I was so excited to eat it every morning. The location was perfect and we walked to Old City every day from the hotel. My boyfriend and I both talked about how we would definitely stay here again in the future. Thank you so much to everyone at Amata Lanna!!!

Wish we could go back!

Loved this place! Wonderful staff- so friendly, attentive, and genuine. Beautiful room and property. Great breakfast, nice pool (though a little too cold in December to swim!) Nice location away from the busy traffic of Old Quarter, but a nice walking distance from the action, and a short walk to the night market.

Beautiful and relaxing. Best service ever!

The staff was the best ever and very attentive to us. The room was gorgeous. The only issue we encountered was a sewer smell in the room. The staff constantly burned incense for us and offered to change rooms which we appreciated.

Best service

Service was very good. As it is a small hotel the reception which is 24 hours is just a few steps away. So it's really convenient. Very friendly and helpful, best service. Tea and coffee served to the room anytime you need it. However hotel forgot to arrange pick up at airport though confirmed by email. There is construction ongoing so is dusty and noisy in the day. We had issues with smell in the room but they allowed us to switch room. Breakfast selection is from the same menu everyday so may be a bit boring if staying long.
