The check-in was fine once we got used to the locks. The house is old with character. Rooms are large and would be great for a large family. The beds were comfortable and there were extra blankets available. One shower stall is very small and hard to maneuver in. A hand shower would be easier to use. The other bathrooms were fine. It was nice to have plenty of boxes of tissues. There were no amenities in the cupboards like salt and pepper, sweetners and cream packets for coffee or, dish detergent for hand washing. The toaster was broken. There were paper filters. It could stand a little more cleaning like around bathroom fans and smeared marks on the cupboards, but not a major deal for most. It is in a good location, close to churches and downtown. Furniture was comfortable and it had a good internet connection, but TV channels were limited to free oldies or we didn't know how to tune cable channels in. Nice to have a VRBO in Chesaning.
