Flights To Warsaw
Dreams of pierogi, castles, and cobblestone streets may dance in your head as you touch down at Frederic Chopin Airport (WAW) on one of the daily flights to Warsaw, Poland. You’ll journey through markets and town squares that have been entirely rebuilt in the past 70 years. And while you’ll find plenty of history in modern-day Warsaw, this city of reinvention is busy looking toward a bright future. Fly to Warsaw to learn the true meaning of the city’s motto: “It defies the storms.”
Transportation from WAW
At WAW, you’ll find newly renovated check-in areas and a single terminal, providing a streamlined experience for Warsaw flights. Hotels close to Frederic Chopin Airport are in the Wlochy district, a quiet neighborhood where you’ll find small parks and historic forts. If you have a rental car, the counters are right in the terminal. No car? It’s just as easy to get around without one! Head down to the stacja kolejowa (railway station) for the latest and greatest transportation option. There are two lines available; make sure you don’t take the express line if your stop isn’t on it. There are also several buses that may get you closer to your destination if you’re not headed downtown. Finally, the classic cab is always an option. If you choose this route, queue up with the locals at the authorized taxi stand, as “pirate” taxis can trick newcomers into paying more.
Out With the Old, In With the New
Storks are an iconic symbol of springtime and renewal in Warsaw; people even build special alcoves for their thousand-pound nests. We can’t put you on the back of a stork to get to Poland, but we can provide cheap flights to Warsaw so you can see them for yourself. Book a hotel with your plane ticket to bundle your Warsaw vacation, and save up to $537.
