Flight Review

Dec 8, 2019

Every Aegean flight I've taken has been delayed. The lack of punctuality is incredible.

Smart Wings charges for baggage and limits carry on bags to 8kg. Also charges for all beverages on board including soft drinks

Only problem was I tried to use my Visa credit card on board for drinks and their WiFi didn’t work - later it caused Wells Fargo to suspend my password thinking that it was being hacked.

Staff went out of their way to get us in this flight. We had 20 mins to this connection and they arranged for staff to meet us on the tarmac when we deplaned and drove us to this flight to get us on board. Amazing.

Called Iberia and Travelocity before vacation to request a wheelchair, no one at the airport knew of this request. Disappointed in that!

Flights To Dubrovnik

Are you after a taste of history on your next vacation? History buffs will love visiting Dubrovnik, Croatia. Best known for its Old Town and architecture, this seaside town will take your breath away. Plus, Dubrovnik flights into Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) are cheap.

Transportation from DBV

Flights to Dubrovnik Airport land about 14 miles south of town. To get into town, your best bet is to rent a car. Luckily, you can rent a car through Travelocity, or opt for one of our packages to Dubrovnik. If you'd prefer, you can hop on one of the airport's shuttle buses instead, it'll pick you up right outside the pickup lane at the airport, but be sure to book ahead of time. Either way, when you fly to Dubrovnik, you'll be ready to hit the town 20 minutes after leaving the airport.

Embrace History in Dubrovnik

The architecture in Dubrovnik is to die for. Most buildings are preserved shockingly well and range in styles from renaissance to Gothic. The beautiful buildings make a simple stroll around the streets a true treat. This old town faces the Adriatic Sea, which means that there are tons of restaurants at which you can eat delicious, fresh seafood. After you've filled up on fish, head to the city's most popular destination: Old Town. Dubrovnik's Old Town is especially distinctive for the giant, stone walls that surround it. Climb the city walls for one of the greatest views in the entire historic city. If you're after views, you should also hop into the town's cable cars, which will take you on a ride over the city. It's especially stunning at sunset. And when you're worn out, rest in one of the many Dubrovnik hotels, many of which embrace the varying architectural styles as the rest of the city does.
