The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast and the different variety each morning. Construction in and around the building was a little inconvenient but didn’t cause much of a problem. The hotel is located in perfect walking distance to all shops and restaurants in the Charleston Historic District. We would stay here again.

I did make a note at checkout the 2nd floor where I was staying when you got off the elevator you were hit with a smell of mold like maybe they shampooed the carpets with a dirty solution…it was terrible and went the entire hallway. We had a fire alarm pulled at 2:00 am and they evacuated the entire hotel. That was a bit rough.

Toilet ran the whole times, kept me up at night. Maintenance came up and fixed it once, then at 9pm started again and ran all night. Wallpaper is peeling off the walls in the bathroom and carpet in the halls is ripped up.
