The Space: With 2bd/2.5ba, this luxurious 1st-floor condo comfortably fits groups of up to 4 people! The property is located on Rutledge Avenue in Charleston's Cannonborough-Elliotborough neighborhood, so parking and proximity won’t be an issue! As you enter through your own private entrance, you’ll be met by the inviting essence of “Rutledge Avenue Inn A”. Step inside and you’ll be immersed in the bright open floor plan of the combined dining/kitchen area. Seating for 4 is located at the countertop in the kitchen. For your convenience, the kitchen has been fully equipped with all of the basic cooking/kitchenware. Just off the kitchen, you will find the living room - featuring a cozy sitting area where you may relax and enjoy the large smart HDTV provided for your comfort. Both bedrooms are located off of the hallway on the main floor. The master bedroom contains a spacious king-sized bed as well as a private full bathroom which has recently been renovated. The 2nd bedroom includes a comfortable queen-sized bed + another updated full bathroom. In addition to each bedroom’s private bathroom, the common area contains a half-bathroom/powder room. Last, but certainly not least is the beautiful 2nd-story porch - where you can relax and hang out in one of the many outdoor lounge chairs or share a meal at the outdoor dining table seating for 4.

This place was terrific! It was walkable to everything we wanted to see, quiet, and had everything we needed. The front porch was enjoyed throughout our stay and so was the living room/TV to watch a football game. The beds were comfortable and having your own bathroom was a plus. We will be back again!

This condo/apartment was so nice! I loved how it was historic, yet had modern appliances, bathrooms, and kitchen. The location was walkable to King St. and the colleges. The iron and ironing board just need to be replaced :)

Excellent overall

Spent a long Easter weekend here with my daughter and her boyfriend. We were joined by my son and his girlfriend from Mt. Pleasant for brunches on the porch and cocktails before dinners out. The place is a wonderful mix of old Southern charm and modern amenities and finishes. It's clean and kept up very well. Beds are super comfy. Just know that along with that historic charm comes creaky old floors so be prepared to hear the folks above you walking around! Only feedback would be to replace the three coffee pots (2 missing carafes and one tiny drip machine) with a Keurig for simplicity. Location is a walk from everything on the peninsula. It's super nice overall and we'll definitely consider staying here on our next visit.

This place worked perfectly for us! Great location, clean, spacious! Great place for two couples! Only recommendation would be a couple more hand towels and a dish cloth and dish soap. We could’ve cleaned up even better if we had some of that. :-) was an absolute wonderful place, close to everything downtown.

Beautiful place to stay in Charleston

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. It was an easy walk to shopping, attractions and dining. I had great morning runs. Kitchen provisions were less than optimal for cooking anything more than basic. Washer didn't work and called to get it fixed but they weren't able to prior to our departure. I was given a credit for that.

Exactly The Home We Wanted

This home was exactly the home we were looking to find in Charleston. It was well appointed, comfortable, pristinely clean, and everything was in working order. Just beautiful! The parking spot in the rear of the home was an extra benefit. We just loved the front porch, had coffee out there each morning. No complaints at all, and if we return, we'll stay here again!

The house is even better than the pictures. The bedrooms, bathrooms and layout are great. Having a parking space and the location was a cherry on top. Anyone that is looking to stay in this area, should absolutely consider this property!

Very nice, very clean and well appointed condo with a wonderful front porch. It has all the charm of Charleston with modern updates We enjoyed our stay. The reserved parking was pretty tight but that’s usual for Charleston.

Very spacious! Very clean. Comfortable beds and nice linens! Great kitchen and bathrooms! Suggestions-there was a “old house” smell that hits you upon entry. A reed diffuser could make a big difference. The info book needs updating-some walkable spots recommended are closed and some great new spots (Bad Bunnies and Pinot and Provisions) aren’t mentioned. I was disappointed that the concierge wasn’t able to be more accommodating with a late check out without a half day fee-especially since we paid for the first night and didn’t make it due to our flight to Charleston due to being canceled. The concierge only gave us one hour extra for check out even though the place wasn’t rented.
