Everything was great besides the room we was connected to called when we was going through a family emergency and just getting good news from MUSC no tv no radio on just happiness and they ruined the moment but staff was nice enough to just let us know we enjoyed our stay and the staff was kind...would stay again.

Tucked just off Savannah Highway, the hotel is a short 10-15 minute drive to the historic downtown district and the beaches of Folly and Sullivan’s Island. You get free parking, easy access to major routes, and a location that feels safe, quiet, and clean—ideal for families, road trippers, or business travelers looking for a stress-free base. Rooms are modern, fresh, and remarkably well-kept. Housekeeping clearly takes pride in their work—everything from the bedding to the bathroom was spotless. The beds are comfortable, the AC is reliable (a must in a Charleston summer), and there’s plenty of space to stretch out. Even better, many rooms open directly to the outside, which makes unloading your luggage a breeze. The staff, however, is what sets this hotel apart. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with genuine Southern hospitality. Every request—whether it was a recommendation for nearby restaurants or a late checkout—was handled with a smile and a willingness to help. It’s the kind of service that sticks with you. My new favorite hotel!

I will DEFINITELY be coming back! Location, location! Only 10 miles to the beach, easy drive. Close to lots of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. The staff goes above and beyond, I was very impressed! So friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! I was, however, disappointed that the pool was not open. Other that, I highly recommend and WILL BE BACK.

This property the pictures must’ve been taken a very long time ago. We picked it for the beautiful pool, which was not open and dirty and nothing around it not even the chairs looked the same as the pic we came to this location for the pool. It’s a 12 o’clock check out on Expedia. It’s 11 when we came to the room we couldn’t get in the door because it was bent and broken. Someone tried to get in. It opens from the outside, which they don’t show in the pictures so is unsafe for women. The coffee pot did not work. I had come three hours away for an appointment. Then we proceeded to find out the toilet would not flush. The bathtub would not drain. The shower curtain was way too short for the shower so when you took a shower, you flooded the entire floor and it was coming out into the main area.! Never again Expedia should give me a refund. They should not be advertising this property like they do.

Property seems to be in disrepair in general. Pool was closed, was told it was a recent filter issue, but the pool was solid green with algae. Although we did not have issues, we were warned about power outages. I woke up with bug bites but was not outside and it could only have happened overnight.

I am not happy and I would like at least a partial refund. The pool was not in use because it was lime green. There was mold on the ceiling, and an old hair tie on the floor.

The pool was closed the whole time, my remote was broken, the AC didn’t work, the toilet consistently was running, the vending machine didn’t work, and when I checked in the woman at the front was talking crap to guests about her coworker. Unprofessional and nothing worked.

The check-in experience was terrible. Had to wait over 30 minutes to check in. Lady behind counter giving gentleman in front of me incorrect information. Lady was working by herself and had to call someone because she didn’t know what to do. When it was our turn over 30 minutes later,, We had to ask for a rollaway because it was advertised and we requested it so I wanted to be sure it was in the room and she told us we did not because they did not have them. I told her when I booked the room. I had it in the notes. She said she didn’t know what I was talking about. It was obvious she was new and should not have been left alone there and was not properly trained. Luckily they owned the hotel next-door that did have them and she sent someone next-door to borrow one. It just wasn’t a good situation because they were still two people behind me waiting to check in for what we got this hotel should be about 75 or $80 a night
