Quality choice for Palm Desert

The room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Multiple pool options that are easily accessible. Only complaint is that the a/c fan was pretty loud.

I certainly was not expecting for being charge for 3 days when i have the room for 2 nights. That is an unfair charge. They say check in at 4:00 PM and check out at 10:00 AM, but they do charge for an extra day total $75.00. RIP OFF.

We loved staying at the Villas. They were so clean, so quiet, and so welcoming. The pools were awesome and staying at the Villas also gave us access to the JW Marriott Hotel and their amenities. Looking forward to staying there again soon and taking advantage of all the amenities included.

There was feces on the bed and floor when we checked in. Manager Christian was unpleasant and did not care to assist us. I paid for a week stay for my parents 50th Anniversary. Christian did not do anything other than ask staff to clean the room. The least they could do is comp a night for this place and he didn’t care too. I’m extremely disappointed with the service and management.

I loved this resort, they had many amenities for the kids and big kids. They had an “activity center” where the kids can unwind, color draw, read, play outdoor games and even ride bikes. Also absolutely loved the options of 8/9 pools, so many options and enough space for everyone without feeling claustrophobic. The only down side would have to be check in, says we were able to check in by 4pm, got there by 5pm and one of our suites was not ready so that was a negative, then checkout is at 10am which was inconvenient considering we have a late check in.

The unit was amazing! It had everything, even a washer and dryer. The view of the golf course was great, there were enough EV chargers, service was the best as well. Thank you, Claudia C.! You took good care of our room and us. We will be back next summer.

Beautiful scenic property in the Palm Desert area. The 1200sqft 1 bedroom is beautifully furnished, with full kitchen and large bathroom. Also has a very nice balcony with mountain and golf course view. The pool area with cafe and full bar are also excellent. Only complaint would be that the pool water was a bit cloudy. May need to run pumps a bit more when pools are crowded to keep the water sparkling clear…

Prepaid reservation canceled without warning

I booked a two-night, prepaid stay (Thursday–Saturday) through Hotels.com. When I arrived Friday night at 10:45 PM after a four-hour drive, I was told my reservation had been canceled because I didn’t check in on Thursday. The hotel staff claimed it was a “no-show” and that I would need to rebook and pay again to stay. However, the property’s own listing on Hotels.com says: • “Check-in time ends at anytime” • “No-shows are subject to a property fee equal to the first night’s rate plus taxes and fees” Nowhere does it say the full reservation would be canceled or that guests lose their remaining nights with no refund. At minimum, I should have been charged for Thursday and allowed to check in for Friday—especially since the stay was fully prepaid. Instead, they kept my money and likely resold the room, effectively charging twice for the same space. That’s not just poor communication—it’s unethical and a violation of their stated policies. I can’t say for sure why that was—but as a Black traveler, I’ve learned to pay attention to how I’m treated in moments like this.
