"Honestly, your staff is the best thing about this property. I felt the price was ridiculous, but it is close to Aspen and we drove to Basalt just to get a better price than we could in Aspen. It feels a little closed in with all of the shops right across the parking lot, so the parking feels tight, although I was pleasantly surprised that it was not too noisy at night. You need to add Kleenex to the amenities and rather than providing two washcloths I think you need to provide four like you did for the towels. For that price point, we paid 250 after everything, I would hope you could do a little better on the breakfast bar. The bananas were bruised, and there were just not enough healthy choices for a state that brags about how healthy we are. :-)"

"The condo was great and Robert was very accommodating and quick to respond. The only thing that should be added to the property description is that there is no A/C and also no fans in the condo. Totally understand it’s the mountains and A/C isn’t necessary (we too live in the mountains), but the weather was in the mid to high 90s our whole stay and the condo was at 80 degrees. We had to go out and buy some box fans. Didn’t ruin our stay - but would have been a nice thing to plan for!"

"The square footage of the house was unbelievable. Made you feel like you had plenty of breathing room. We had a party of 11 "grown-ups" and one baby and had much room to spare in order to spread out. Host was always immediate in any questions or concerns we had and saw to it that they were addressed. Wonderful location on the river (truly on the river). Tried fishing the river with flies (no one in our party great fishermen) but had much more luck with lures. Caught a few and had lot's of fun. 2 great towns - Aspen and Basalt just a few minutes away in either direction. Glenwood Springs just a 30 minute drive ... plenty of Colorado activities, all nearby. Location of home gives one more of an isolation feel even though it is part of a residential area. Had a visit from a bear on one evening! A very well-manicured hiking trail is within just steps of the front door for those who like to hike. NBA playoffs were going on during our stay and we got to watch the games on the big screen in the movie room. It was awesome! All in all, our large family had a wonderful time and would definitely consider staying here again if staying in this area of Colorado."

"This is a unique property featuring a huge wall of windows with a gorgeous view year round. Watching the sunset over the summer plains of old Snowmass while reading a book was an unforgettable experience. Kevin is great and clearly loves this property and the area around it. The location was ideal for 15-20 minutes drives to see the whole area over a long weekend: early morning hikes to the Maroon Bells, lunch and shopping in Aspen, afternoon hikes with the dogs through Snowmass, and evening dinners in Basalt’s picturesque downtown. Take the scenic route when you can (Watson Divide)!A couple of things to know if you’re booking here: 1) It is advertised as pet-friendly and the cabin certainly is, but there is no enclosed yard. So you will only let your dogs off-leash here if they have great recall and if you don’t mind them running through long grass or near a road. If you want to go for walks with your dogs, you will end up walking down the nearby county road which is moderately trafficked.2) The property is more of quaint cabin in the woods than a luxury mountain retreat. There is no central air, so it is warm in the summer sun and relies on space heaters in the winter (there are many in the unit). The unit is showing its age and there are a few things that could be improved to make the stay more comfortable. The shower, open holes in the floor in some rooms, and a lack of locking doors might keep some travelers from feeling truly relaxed during their stay."
