"Family Friendly Spot"
Decided to stay in Provincetown upon completion of a Ragnar Relay and my wife and four little ones came up to meet me at the end of the race. We had a great time at Surfside, the hotel was clean and comfortable, the kids enjoyed the continental breakfast and being right on the beach. The staff was courteous and extremely friendly. Within walking distance of lots of good restaurants. Also walked to church the next morning at Church of St. Mary of the Harbor - a very welcoming group. Would definitely stay here again.

"Nice hotel location, very comfortable "
We enjoyed our stay. The only problems: 1. The toilet seat was about 12 inches off the floor. I needed assistance to get up. 2. The advertised indoor pool was not open. The was very disappointing.

"Very nice Mom & Pop Motel"
I very much enjoyed my stay here. This is a nice, clean, affordable "mom & pop" motel in Hyannis. No, this is not as nice as the Marriott or any resorts that might be located a few doors down but it is not the cost of them either. I HAVE stayed in several budget motels throughout Hyannis now, mainly on Main St, and I tell you, THIS one did not have a sticky, shaggy carpet and dull lighting. As much as I hate to compare this to the Marriott, or the budget motels in Hyannis, to me, it is more like the old school Mom & Pop motels dotting Sandwich along 6A. It was pleasant and clean and I plan on staying here again soon!

"One of the nicest weekends we've had"
Did a lot of research to find a peaceful, relaxing place for my husband and I to escape to for a long weekend. Found the Sandbars Inn and took a chance on a property I had no previous experience with, or recommendation to rely on. It was truly the most perfect place for our weekend! The accommodations were amazing, the beach steps from our sliding glass door. We could hear the waves lapping the shore and smelled the sea air day and night. Coffee on the beach? Easy, there was a kitchenette complete with a coffeemaker, fridge, microwave and stove. Fresh flowers awaited us on arrival, and the owners set up a fire in the firepit for guests to sit around. The owners/managers were kind, pleasant, and very easygoing. I really can't say enough about this property. A wonderfully peaceful place just minutes away from the fun of P'town, and other gorgeous beaches. The bike trail at Race Point Beach was fantastic! Oh, the sunsets! We'll be back.

"Nice bra by hotel!"
The beds were super comfortable and the pool was wonderful. They had floaties in the water waiting for you to lounge on. A trolley went right by to take you to the beach or downtown, so even though it is not close to things it is still easy to get to things.

"Bare Bones, Basic, Inexpensive"
This hotel is about as basic as they get. Very thin walls and ceiling, could hear people on both sides and above. But, it is pet friendly, and for one night in and out, well, we could live with it. Some of the guests were a bit boisterous and trashed the parking lot... but again, we figure we can handle anything for a night... So if you want a low price and aren't much bothered by lack of niceties and don't mind feeling at times as if you are an involuntary participant in other peoples' lives, it's great.

Cape Cod Pet Friendly Hotel Guide

When you imagine a Cape Cod getaway, you surely think of beautiful beaches and incredible sunrises. You probably picture late-night laughs over cocktails and bonfires. But look even deeper, and you’ll feel wooden boardwalks creaking beneath your feet, hear the yells of happy children, and smell fish and chips fresh off the grill. Cape Cod is the quintessential summer vacation, the sort of place that friends and families return to year after year. But traveler, what is a holiday without your pet? You know they are part of the family, and thanks to our Cape Cod pet-friendly rentals, they won’t be left behind.

What are the beaches in Cape Cod that are pet friendly?

If you have a furry friend who loves to frolic in the waves, this peninsula is a little slice of paradise. Many beaches require that dogs be leashed, but for dogs who want to run free, Cape Cod pet-friendly hotels near Provincetown, like Sandbars Inn, are the ideal destination. Even in the summer, “P-Town” allows dogs off leash on town beaches between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., and again from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. As an added bonus for early birds, you’re bound to see a spectacular sunrise.

Listen closely and you just might hear warbling seabirds and swishing Atlantic pines calling you to the Cape Cod National Seashore. Leashed dogs and their humans can set out on the Head of the Meadow trail for panoramic views of the surrounding dunes, wetlands, and ocean. And with brand new sights and smells around every corner, your pup is sure to be tuckered out at the end of the day. What’s that she’s dreaming of? Perhaps it’s a friendly seal waving hello, which may leave you wondering…

Any advice on where to see seals in Cape Cod?

Gray seals and harbor seals make their home on the eastern coast of Cape Cod through the summer months. May through August is prime pinniped time, and Chatham Fish Pier is the place to be. As the fisherman unload the day’s catch, silly seals entertain visitors and play in the water—all the while hoping for a few scraps, of course. Better yet, you can fulfill that dream your furry friend had last night, as they can accompany you to the observation deck and check out the seals from afar.

If you don’t mind leaving your four-legged companion at doggy daycare for a few hours, a boat tour to Monomoy Island is the premier way to see these adorable blubber-balls. But if your dog just loves boat rides and you can’t bear to leave him behind, let him feel the ocean breeze on the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard, where on-leash beaches and hikes await. Stroll on over from Yarmouth Resort to get some of his excitement out before boarding time.

You’ll be feeling some excitement of your own when you delve into Travelocity’s amazing selection of pet-friendly hotels in Cape Cod. After all, what is a holiday if you can’t bring your whole family along? It’s time to plan the perfect getaway—and that includes Fluffy.
