The appeal was the water slide and pool, but there is a public pool that has even more just down the road! The hotel is a secondary provider (owner?) and there is a lot of confusion and weirdness. There was construction happening and it's a bit run down elsewhere, especially for the price - the value just wasn't there. It was 'fine'.

Far too expensive for a very mediocre room - basic but clean. All necessary amenities were there. Quite disappointing as it felt very different to the main building. i would not stay there or recommend it. Family members paid similar rates and had beautiful rooms/ townhiuses and condos.

Room had a bunch of mold in it. In the corners of the bathroom and literally dripping pink mold from the ceiling when we showered. Asked about moving rooms, was denied. Requested a refund after the fact, denied. Would not recommend.

Location of covered parking was quite confusing. Some receptionists needs to learn how to be polite & be trained with proper customer service. The male receptionist who attended to us upon checking out was very nice & helpful. Unfortunately, i was not able to catch his name, but kudos to him!

Clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful but only one staff member at front desk and she was always busy. They could use a second staff person there. Would also prefer check in at 3 and check out at 11 which is more standard.

There was a dead mouse in the room. My daughter had to put in garbage as house keeping or maintance could not come for sometime and room was not sanitized after. We were comped a small amount. We did enjoy the pool facility.

Great Stay and Wonderful Staff

The room was clean and well decorated. Beautiful view off the balcony and great access to pathways. The steam shower was super cool though a little difficult to figure out so we just listened to music and had normal showers haha Having a washer and dryer in the room was super handy with how often we were at the pool! There were more than enough toiletries and kitchen accessories, though a larger salad bowl would have been nice. Some regular wear and tear throughout the room but nothing that effected our stay. The pool and water slide was a blast! My kiddo didn’t want to leave! We didn’t use the restaurant though it looked lovely and the fool looked delicious! Maybe a couple more kid friendly options would be nice but not necessary. The build your own option would have been a great option if we hadn’t cooked so much in the room. The staff was wonderful and very helpful with any questions we had and even the contractors working on the renovation were super kind and respectful. My kiddo was extra excited about how many compliments they got on their outfits! The halls were a little extra spooky due to the renovations but we can’t wait to see how they look when everything is done! Had a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our visit. The room was very comfortable and clean. We could walk anywhere in Canmore. We were very happy with the terrace, it was comfortable and we had a bbq which we liked.

The room smelled like cigar/cigarette smoke, like someone had probably smoked there for years, and they didn't have it re-painted or cleaned properly. Cleaning team missed some spots in the bathroom (kinda gross), and TV had a big line of dead pixels (buy a $100 replacement from Costco???) Staff was very friendly, and the bedding was nice, so that was a plus.

Room needs to be throughly dusted and wiped down, lamp, door to outside, window ledges, pictures on the walls. Dried slime in various places in room. Random beads left from previous guests. Layers of dust and crumbs under beds. Peeling wallpaper, dirty washroom walls and door. Thermostat and fan unit below window did not work, could not adjust room temperature. Pool area was good! Overall a tired looking hotel.
