Creekside Villas is a quite nice property overall — well decorated, cozy, and with a great lounge area that has lots of board games and a beautiful fireplace (which, sadly, was never actually lit while we were there and it doesn’t look like it ever does)
One thing that was really disappointing was the steam room. It’s only open until 8 pm, and we arrived around 7, but there was a yoga class going on, so it wasn’t available. We were really looking forward to relaxing there after the drive, and then we had plans the next day, so we never got to use it at all.
The room itself was fine, but there was mold in the bathroom, which isn’t great. Noise cancellation in the building is basically nonexistent — you can hear everything. The staff also wasn’t very friendly, and during cleaning they picked up our knife by accident, so it took us a while to even figure out where it went.
They do have a little coffee spot with some breakfast snacks, which is convenient.
Overall, the place is cute and has potential, but a few things added up and made the stay less enjoyable than we expected.
