They presented us with a bill £130 over what was due, not only charging again for meal deal but not giving the credit for meal deal, so paying for food on top of prepayment. The rib-eye steak my wife was given has to be the worst I have even seen, all fat and grizzle could not get a serrated knife through it. Also fat still white. Finally, didn't get the alarm call we requested. The reception staff were lovely, except for failed call.

Room - Stayed for 2 nights and the bedroom had no heating. They didn't offer to move us to a new room, even though we upgraded to the deluxe. They said they would fix the heating and gave us a portable heater. We asked the following day and nothing was fixed. The room was freezing for our whole stay. Also, the rooms are very dated and need refurbishing. Food - Went for lunch at the restaurant and asked for a sandwich with bloomer bread. The bread was a thin piece of white bread. When inquiring about the bread, they ignored me and made me feel stupid for asking. Staff - Staff were really friendly, besides the one who served us for lunch.
The sandwich was described as being prepared with bloomer bread, but was instead provided with thin white bread.

Overall a good hotel for short stay - walkable to local shops. Let down slightly by pool facilities as it’s also a members club, so very busy during swimming lessons each afternoon and the wrong time was posted in rooms for when pool was unavailable. However that was rectified with apologies, and was simply an error. Coffee at breakfast is from a machine which for myself was unpleasant. Room was excellent for price, and would use hotel again if in area.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, got checked in swiftly by Emily who was absolutely wonderful throughout our stay, very accommodating and nothing was too much to ask. We did have issues with heating but the gentleman on the night shift provided us with heaters that were more than sufficient heating our room up perfectly. Room was spotless, cleaned by Beti, thank you! Buffet breakfast was plentiful and filling, everywhere looked very clean and welcoming. We look forward to coming back again!

Only went there to sleep between along journey. Very helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Slept really well. Quite a loud party was going on but receptionist ensured I had a room around the back of the hotel so I couldn't hear any sound. Nice breakfast
