Unique experience
We were two families with children. Have experienced problems with electricity which resulted in some local short-cut fire that we had to extinguish on the first day of arrival. Villa manager seemed to be quite unhappy about that and showed to it to us surprisingly asking questions “what have you put in the socket?”… kinda blaming us on what happened :-( after problem with electricity was more or less fixed, manager left and we havent heart from her for the next five days. On the orher hand villa owner was attentive and she tried to help us. Villa is spacios, nice, good location, however heated with small electrical heaters in some rooms. We had to use fireplace every evening to keep it warm but max temp we got inside was somewhere in range of 17-19C. Have to mention it was mid Feb and temp outside was 12-15C at nights.

Fantastic holiday
We have just spent two weeks in the villa with our daughter, son in law and twin six year old grandsons. The villa was very clean and well equipped. The beds comfortable with good quality bed linen. The outside bbq, covered veranda and pool area is great and the view fantastic. The boys swam in the pool every day and also enjoyed the little beach in Calheta. After months of self isolation and cancelled holidays due to the Covid situation it was great to get away and relax with family and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time at the villa.

Spacious with great view
We did not want to stay in Funchal but wanted to be close enough to visit a couple of times. This property was conveniently located so we could spend time on the west and north side of the island. The house was immaculately cleaned and well furnished. The fireplace was a bonus to take the night chill away after daily touring.

Great destination for groups
We booked the house for a group of 11 people and we were very happy with everything. The house is spacious and has room for everyone with enough bathrooms and a good setup. The pool was a great add on that we really enjoyed. The contact to the host was effortless and the house was very clean. We could not have asked for anything more. Locationwise it definitely makes sense to have a car but we also got along well by foot or taxi. All in all we really enjoyed the place and can definitely recommend it!
