I am not sure why this hotel has such a high rating! The rooms were out dated and in need of serious repairs. The first room we were given smelled terribly of mold and mildew. In the second room, the toilet ran, there were springs sticking out of the mattress and the shower was dirty. The elevator did not feel safe. The only positive was that the front desk clerks were friendly. Would not recommend!

We loved our stay at Applause Hotel. Staff were very helpful and accommodating, we used the free shuttle going to the airport, with good breakfast, shower works very well, bed is spacious ans comfortable, there is a luggage storage and we were allowed a 1-hr late checkout. The hotel is near the airport and for going shopping mall/restaurants, we used Uber which had reasonable rates. Our stay was short (2 nights) and we were not able to use the hot tub because it was always being used by other guests when we planned to go to the hot tub area. Would highly recommend Applause Hotel. :)
