"Lovely hotel. Pools both nice. Staff very friendly. Only real downsides were the WiFi was terrible (almost unusable) and the shower was cold (but it was very hot so not a major issue for us)."

Cala Galdana contains a great range of places to rest. Within a 6-mile (10-kilometer) radius of the main area of Cala Galdana, travelers can choose from 13 memorable hotels.

Do you want to find a bed surrounded by local culture? Check out the Floramar Aparthotel and Hotel ILUNION Menorca that are situated within roaming distance of the center of the city.

5 miles (8 kilometers) from central Cala Galdana, you will come across the Hotel Rural Binigaus Vell. Alternatively, the Hotel Rural Sant Ignasi is situated 8 miles (12 kilometers) away. Other possible options are the Hotel Torralbenc and the Globales Lord Nelson.

The extended Balearic Islands district is certainly well worth visiting too. Investigate Balearic Islands's ruins. Anybody drawn to nature should make the time to enjoy the region's beaches, coastal plains, mountains and cliffs. Modern visitors in this part of Spain love mountain biking and rock climbing.

Mahon is 16 miles (25 kilometers) to the east of Cala Galdana and boasts Xoriguer Gin Distillery and Favaratix Lighthouse. When you stay in Fornells, make sure you venture to the Torre de Fornells and Port Fornells.

Just because you are on vacation, doesn't have to mean that you can't feed your obsession with a day watching sports. Plaza de Toros is 45 miles (71 kilometers) to the west of Cala Galdana. Any sports fans wanting to stay close by can take their choice from the Villa Alcanada or the Iberostar Alcudia Park.

Located 15 miles (25 kilometers) outside the downtown precinct of Cala Galdana is Minorca Airport. Find a room nearby at Matxani Gran Agroturismo or Hotel Artiem Capri.

"I am not sure what makes this hotel a 3* and not a 4* but we found it to be excellent. The layout of the hotel in a square around the pool makes it very private and secluded. The location is also great. It's a short walk to the marina with lots of restaurants and shops and a night market and its also close to two beautiful beaches you can walk to. It's close to supermarkets so you can buy anything you need. The pool is large and we always got a space around it with plenty of umbrella's. The room was large with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen dining area and living room with large L-shaped sofa. It also had a balcony. The room had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was great. The staff turned around tables quickly and we never waited for a table when it was busy. The choice was extensive and the food was a good standard. We didnt eat dinner at the hotel but the food at the pool bar was very good and good value. The staff were very friendly, very helpful and knowledgeable about the island and trips you could do and places worth a visit. We lost a teddybear when he was accidentally swept up in the sheets when the cleaners changed the bedding, but the staff were great and he was quickly returned from his adventure through the laundry! We had such an excellent stay at this hotel, I really couldn't fault it."
