Lovely place - so not the corporate chain hotel. Had a really good evening meal. Breakfast was also excellent. Packed lunch was a bonus. Lovely room, perfect for relaxing after a day out walking. Chosen because it was dog friendly and it did not disappoint - good for walking into town and loved that there was a map showing us how to get there by avoiding the main road. Breakfasts were delicious! Thank you for our stay.

Staff at breakfast needed to be a lot more helpful and cleaner. Breakfast was cold and dried up bacon like leather. Overall all staff needed sorting ie learn how to wellcome visitors. Bar was not stocked and unable to purchase draughty beer. Would not advise others to stay.
