Room was very clean and the bed quite comfortable. Also, really great, roomy bathroom and hair/body products. The air/heater was a bit noisy and I shut it off but it came back in automatically. Easy parking, nice forests and outside picnic area available. All in all great value!

We enjoyed the overall stay and with a few tweaks it could be a top notch experience. Aesthetic, premium toiletries, and comfortable beds were great, while noise was the biggest drawback (a sound machine was provided.) Thicker entry doors with less fussy locks would add to security. Minor recommendations are a light for closet area, full-length mirror, and sheers layered with curtains for better privacy.

Stay was fine and entry instructions all good. Clean room. But, very small. No room to put anything really. Barely fit a laptop onto the small table. No electrical outlets by the bed which I found odd. Bed was ok (queen size), but given small space in the room, it would be difficult for 2 people.

We booked a King room, mainly because this was a biking tour for us, and we stay at motor courts where we can wheel our bikes out into the ground-floor room. Hygge worked PERFECTLY for this! For an area that can get quite expensive, we found Bueltton the perfect community to stay and the Hygge to be the PERFECT place to stay. Why? The grounds are impeccable and the room is spotless -- if you've ever been to Europe, you've seen rooms like these. The pics are accurate: Noth fancy here but everything MODERN -- the bathroom fixtures, MODERN, the shower has EXCELLENT water pressure -- even with the Rain Shower shower head! The bed is very comfortable, featuring a European-style comforter and four full, plush pillows. The only slight negative is a lack of hooks or space for clothes if staying more than one night -- but this is such a minor thing. What's more important is the bed has TWO nightstands (surprisingly many places have only one for one side) and TWO lounging chairs (again, this can be taken for granted). We may bike 30 miles at a time, but we are in our 70's and we need a chair to put on our shoes... lol. Heating/A/C works efficiently, and the front windows, doors, floors, decor etc. all look newish and well-maintained. Our room was easily a 3-star with a 4-star cleanliness and decor -- fridge and Keurig. You can tell the owner/management has pride in this motel, and you will be very happy with the efficiency at a very low price for the region! :-)
