This hotel has always been our family vacation destination. We take this vacation twice a year. We could not sleep because there was stomping from the upstairs room. I notified the front office 3 times and they only responded once to say they will take care of it. Once I checked out they didn’t mention anything about it. I still love to have this as our family vacation destination despite what happened but I am very disappointed they didn’t do something to fix the problem or compensate our stay from it.

This is a great hotel especially if you have a student at UCSB or any Santa Barbara college . Hotel choices can be a little slim closer to campus and the quality of this hotel is great . I love that Firestone Brewery is next door . They have great food and my favorite beer 805 . I highly recommend this property

The property is convenient for my needs. Firestone Brewery was a short walk and has amazing food. But noone should ever have room 225. It is directly above the mechanical room and the noises and vibrations are continual 24/7. Several times a night there would be a loud boom from the mechanical room which shock the room. First time I have ever had a bad stay a Hilton facility.

Overall my stay was amazing. Front desk agent was friendly, quick check in. Breakfast was delicious with many options. Room was big and clean. But I had an issue, unfortunately I forgot my $200 sunglasses, I’m 100% sure I left them there, I called 20 minutes after and they told me housekeeping already had been done and no one reported ANYTHING found in my room. I called three times in three different days (as suggested by front desk person) and all they said is SORRY, there’s nothing at the hotel. To the person who found them please know that they were a gift from a friend of mine who passed away, and I hope you don’t loose anything valuable, and I’m taking about money value, but being HONEST is always the best choice.
