Don’t stay in room 129!!!!!!!!

We returned to this hotel after having a great experience earlier this summer. However, this time we were on the first floor and it was miserable. We were woken up all night- so glad I don't have young kids! We could hear neighbors conversation, snoring, giggling ( so glad with my kids that was all!) plus all the noise from the hall plus the waffle timer going off every 3 min starting at 6:30 - and we weren't even the closest room. There was pool party that felt like it was in our bathroom- I didn't blame them for having a good time and they did disperse directly at 10pm. The room was clean, lovely, but so noisy!

This property was at the foot of the bridge to the island so the beach was soooo close! The property was clean but due to the humidity the room smelled slightly musty. The room doors don’t have any type of catch to slow them so we heard neighbors doors slam frequently which wasn’t very restful overall we would go again.

Our first room smelled like mold and mildew. They did switch it. It was better but still had a slight mildew smell. The vents were covered in dust. There were roaches crawling out of their hairdryers. 😬

Best Staff, best breakfast! BOOK NOW

Took my family for a weekend beach trip before back to school and this hotel was the best we’ve ever stayed at. The staff were all super nice and friendly. Some places make you feel like a nuisance, not this place! The breakfast was a definite highlight, thanks to the sweet lady making our breakfast sandwiches and cutting up fresh fruit. This hotel will always be our go to if we come back to the area. Thank you Blue Water for giving us an enjoyable weekend!
