I was traveling with a small (20 lb) dog and from looking online and having driven past this hotel in the past, I thought it would be a good choice. I was very disappointed.
At check-in, the employee charged my card before telling me the only non-smoking room was on the 2nd floor, which I could not manage. I finally agreed to a smoking room. When I opened the door, the bedspread was full of cigarette burn holes, room had not been aired out, looked like it was next to be remodeled. There was a repairman working in the room next to it. I was concerned how late this would continue.
I went back to the office to ask for a refund and was told it was impossible. Employee then found another non-smoking room on first floor. It was much better and relatively clean.
Outside were picnic tables and grassy area which looked nice in the photos. It was not clean, big black trash bag on the ground, overflowing, chicken bones on the ground.
Not a good place to walk your dog.
The lobby is clean and bright and looks like the photos show. Next time I'm in Brady, I will choose another hotel.
