I really liked Basecamp becauae it was near the campus, near a lot of food choices, near Pearl St, and near great hiking opportunities. What more could you want? it's cozy location nestled in a neighborhood gave it a good feel too. The amenities if you like to hang out and have a drink is a nice option after a long day and it's set up really well. Be aware however that if you're downstairs, the room above you can be loud with heavy walkers.

I liked the location, but the screaming husband and wife at 11p.m. was tooo much..shouting and swearing..f-bombs, throwing their underwear outside, I was worried they would be fist fighting..and who knows what else..

Construction going on, noise all day and no parkin

Pros: Location
Cons: Tell the truth about what is happening at the hotel, i.e, major construction. Adjust rate accordingly if one would want to stay there at all.
This was one of the two worst hotel experiences I have ever had. Even though they had the opportunity to tell us that there would be all day construction on the parking lot and we would not have parking, not even on the street, they did not inform us. They did have breakfast, but we had to take it back to our room. There was not enough light in the room. We were due a credit and we had to call and get it put onto our account.

Room way no way as pictured on Website

Pros: It is close to downtown Boulder and the beds were comfortable.
Cons: The room definitely need a general redoing
Location: Within walking distance to the Pearl Street mall and restaurants. Quiet in spite of being on a busy avenue.
Our room was clean. That's as good as I can say. It was definitely of a lower quality than implied by the description and the photos on the website. No dresser, No closet. Metal pails for trash and a cooler as a refrigerator. The reception area has taken over the fitness room. Generally, the whole facility was of a lower quality than you would expect in downtown Boulder. Not worth the advertised room rate of $185.00.

Decent hotel

Pros: Location.
Cons: Sauna and hot tob. Rooms need hair drier
Location: Very close to shopping centers and rsteaurants
it is a decent hotel; however, the Sauna and hot tub were very outdated. My wife and I tried to use the Sauna, but did not get it to work. We were not sure if the hot tub was clean or if it was just too old. Anyhow, the sauna and the hot need to be renovated. The rooms are very clean, but the decor in the rooms appeared to be somewhat rustic to my liking. I was surprised that they was no hair drier in the room. My wife and I enjoyed our stay there regardless, and the staff was very friendly.

Great location

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: really packed parking lot
The location makes up for the rooms having a run down feel. The bathrooms were clean and the staff were fritndly. Still, the location makes it a great value!

This hotel is a great value

Pros: Free breakfast, Close restaurants, Quiet
Cons: no view
The hotel was clean, staff was friendly and location was perfect. Considering the other hotel prices in the area, this one was the perfect price, and we felt very at home..

Nice, but very noisy

Everyone from the desk was very friendly. The breakfast was good. Our room was fine, until we were treated to our neighbors' every word, laugh and noise. The air conditioner was the only thing that covered up the noise, but it didn't run continuously. The worst thing about this is I wouldn't have even called them noisy neighbors; the walls were just way too thin.
