Room was large and had nice view, however the building badly needs major maintenance. Stairs, balcony were deteriorated Building badly needs paint and possibly total rehab/replacement. We don't know condition of other buildings. Restaurant and lounge were closed for renovation.

Everything was perfect! The staff was beyond “professionally friendly”, they felt like family friendly!(Not just doing their job, but loving what they do)
The sunrise view from my room.

We arrived after a long drive a few hours before check-in, and worried about leaving items in our car, were a little surprised that there was no secure area for one suitcase. When asked if we could actually check-in, the desk clerk was a bit of a strict rules follower and said we would be charged $30. Really? Not many people were there! So we came back two hours later. Note--Hotels.com told us that there was a restaurant on site but alas, it was closed. The room itself was okay, bed comfortable but in decades of travel never heard an air conditioning system that LOUD in my life. The complex itself was kind of cute and quirky, in a Cohen Brothers kind of way, with a faux western town. The stairs and decking leading up to our room-- you might want to inspect those, That wood is getting old. I swam in the pool on our trip. It was warm but a little murky. Yep, murky but comfortable! The high points-- I thought your bar was very good. The bartender made a great margarita. The other worthwhile item to mention is your perfect location, right practically at the entrance to the Snaz_Borrego State Park.

The room was great. Big, comfortable, clean and I had my own balcony, what was really nice. The staff is friendly and very polite. The place is really quiet. Close to downtown Borrego Springs were there are many markets and restaurants and to the Anza Borrego SP Visitor Center.

Great place to stay! Rooms are clean, good size, very close to the BS happening area, walking to beautiful hikes, friendly staff and reasonable rates and a BIG plus is pet friendly! We will be back for our next rip to Borrego.

The room was clean and comfortable. Walls are thin, though. I could hear the guests in the next room talking. I also had trouble with the fridge freezing all my food even though it was set to minimum. The freezer needed defrosting so I unplugged it when I left and put towels under under the freezer section to absorb the melt. Maybe that will resolve it. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

Shower had no water, room stunck like old, pubic hairs in toilet. Air conditioner blew warm air and front desk was rude. Surprisingly manager said the room was fine and nothing wrong. Low class, totally disgusting.

Cool ambiance! I had a very short stay, just over night, but if you are planning a multi-day trip in borrego, this place is close to everything and you can also just hang our and enjoy the amenities of the hotel.
