The first room we got was dirty. Carpet was dirty, bathroom floor was dirty. Sheets had body and pubic hair on the sheets and under the sheets. We asked for new sheets and got them but the bed had more hair when we tried to use the new sheets. We asked to speak to a manager and the staff said they would send one up. After 30 mins I called back down to the front desk and no answer so I went down to the front desk. The gal said she could not get a hold of a manager but never bothered to call me back so I asked for a different room. She was very nice so I just thanked her and took the new room. The new room was cleaner but after all that, no bueno.

The guy who checked up in was great. Super nice and attentive. The guy working this morning doesn’t seem to have any personality. No good morning or how was your stay, nothing. He barely made eye contact. The carpet in our room looked as if it hadn’t been vacuumed and we did not have wash cloths. We just used the hand towels. The breakfast didn’t look good at all so we are heading out to IHOP. But for the price it was all just fine.

Thin Walls

Pros: Like where it is situated relative to the school campus.
Cons: Sound proof the walls.
It is not easy for me to fall asleep when I can hear the next door neighbor snoring, water moving the the water pipe, neighbor on the other side flush their toilet, and people talking in the hall way (on the 3rd floor). Pillows were awesome and the bed was very comfortable you better be a deep sleeper to sleep well here.

Not Good

Pros: Decent, room and bathroom were both clean, good location.
Cons: Breakfast, needs hot foods. Make sure there is enough hot water! Hotel was not even completely booked.
Location: Mountains of NC. Near Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, and Blowing Rock.
No hot water, breakfast was only cold foods, nothing cooked. Power went out for two hours, hotel staff gave us wrong directions to get on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Overpriced for what we got. No action taken about problems.

Us and our dogs

Me, my son , mom and our four dogs. Had a wonderful time. We had two rooms. They were very clean, beds were comfortable and staff was pleasant. .
