Location had easy access to downtown. Rocking chairs on balcony was enjoyable. Parking was easy. Check in was easy and professionally done. We stayed in the Davidson Suite that was spacious with a king bed, kitchen, sitting area, and large bathroom with shower and jetted tub. Very private 2nd story.

August every year at Hillwinds

We always love being at Hillwinds, have been coming for years every first weekend of August for our family reunion in Vilas. So convenient, you can walk everywhere to shops and dinner!

Very convenient to walk to shopping and dinning. Hotel needs some updating and the air conditioning was not great in our sleeping area of the suite. I would surely stay again but updates would be great.

Bath floor was dirty. Shower rod sagged and curtain would not stay closed, resulting in lots of water on the floor. One small bar of soap and one small shampoo for two people. Requested more but employee said “he was thru for the day…ask tomorrow”,
