This was a cute place. In dire need of carpet replacement though. I had no hot water the first morning that I stayed. Front desk receptionist across the road was very nice.

Overpriced and not comfortable at all.

The internet was out as was the TV. There was only decaf coffee or flavored coffee. Check in was not at the hotel but at another hotel and it was pouring rain. The mattress was awful and the place is way overpriced for what it is and they know it.

Awesome Stay.. Easy walk to Downtown

This place was Awesome! Very clean and we could easily walk to downtown. Everyone was very friendly. Our first time to Blowing Rock and hopefully many more! The scenery is breathtaking! The town of Blowing rock is beautiful! .❤️ We went to Blowing Rock to escape the heat here in Tennessee. It was around 78 degrees compared to 98 degrees here. I would definitely recommend this motel and Blowing Rock! Is a wonderful town with many great restaurants and shops.

After reading the reviews, I wanted to like this property. I know a lot of these little mountain inns can be a bit rustic and that is part of the charm. However, I would not come back and stay here. Our room was very dated with dark purple walls and then lavender in the bathroom. The dark purple showed every bit of dust on the walls and there was a lot of it. The lampshades were also very dusty. The carpet was stained. There was a food stain on our floral comforter that made me think it had not been washed. The wifi did not work. I tried to call the office and the phone rang and rang (during business hours). I called the sister partner across the street and left a voicemail. No one called me back, even after 24 hours of waiting. The water pressure was nice and the bathroom was clean, but other than that, the walkability was the only positive.

BRI is a charming little "old fashioned" motel. They allowed us to check in a little before 3:00 which was super nice. The location cannot be beat! The only thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars overall is the HVAC was LOUD and woke me up continually in the night.

Lovely Location and what a lovely place- Blowing Rock! We had some specific issues 1. There were very limited supplies in the kitchen ( for instance one spoon for two guests?) 2. The bed was so high that my 90 year old mother could not climb up or down from the bed. The property was not able to provide a step stool or a roll in bed. The sofa that she might have been able to improvise as a bed was not long enough but also was filthy from inside. 3. The hair dryer did not work in the room. 4. The toilet door did not close as the commode was too big for the space. To be fair- the team was very friendly and lovely. However for $500 or more for two nights- one expected a little more finesse.

The room was nice. The bathroom was nice and the bed was comfortable. The only complaint I would have is that the carpet needs to be removed. It was wrinkled in places and had large dirty spots. Otherwise, the room was quaint and looked like it had been renovated recently

The four-day stay was enjoyable and the location was great for Blowing Rock activities. Unit 222 was enjoyable being off the road and listening to the birds.
