The staff at the Grant Street Inn was extremely courteous, accessible and informative. The main entrance is very charming and inviting However, our room was located in other unit which was clean but not as charming. The hand wash sink was outside the bathroom, which was inconvenient, and took almost five minutes for the water to heat up. We also found leftovers in the fridge upon our arrival.

Check-in was fine; room very clean and comfortable. Could not get tv in room to work (we own smart tv’s). Despite being given a different remote, tv still unable to work. Was woken up at 1:30 am to loud knocking on front door of house 315. This persisted for an hour, alternating between loud knocking on door to what sounded like pounding or kicking on door. Tried calling front desk, no answer. I was wanting to discuss our experience with a human, but there was no one at desk during check-out.

stayed in what i was told was previously the bridal suite. the layout was a bit odd. sink was over in the area by the bed, not quite close to the bathroom. Tv was too small for the size of the room, not enjoyable to watch from the bed. An ottoman would be nice if you want to sit chairs to watch Tv. Other than that it was nice, within walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. take a drive to Nashville IN it is a quaint town. Try the Birds Nest. Good food.

Consistently, superior. Every room in which I’ve stayed has been, Clean, quaint, spacious,comfortable, and deliciously quiet. ( I live in a big city). Breakfast food, Ruthie and staff cannot be beat! What a wonderful spot in the heart of Bloomington. We only stayed one night. Wish we could have stayed longer. Well-decorated with a keen eye for detail. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. And not too pricey. Highly recommended.
