Check in with Kayla went really good. This was our second time in 5 weeks to stay here. We chose The Cascades Inn in November 2025 because the room choices were limited due to the IU football game. We were pleasantly surprised with the how nice the motel/hotel was & the proximity to Memorial Stadium & Assembly Hall (6 minutes). I gave a review previously with pictures. Cascades Park is behind the hotel. This time when we returned, the place was not at all busy. I was welcomed by Kayla at check in & she was as extremely pleasant!! We found out that the Sleepers Bar on the property was closed!! Yes, it was Sunday but… there was a BigTen Indiana University Basketball game that evening. We had 9 people that were wanting to pregame. The bar had been closed for 10 days over the holidays (12/21-12/31/25) so we were so hopeful to have our pregame there……. But…. So now back to the room, I booked a King Deluxe with a garden view. Now, note that it’s winter & the “garden” is all dead & brown. But! The courtyard is nice. The room we got was ground level, Room 120 with a wall & fire extinguisher “view”!! There were sooooo many empty rooms. But……. Because we paid $80 for the room & we were only there
For 1 night, we decided to just stay put. It’s a cute , clean place. Very pleasant staff & close to IU. It’s a motel that acts like a hotel. On a scale of 1-10 we give it a 7.5.
