The property was clean and the breakfast person was very accommodating, but I was charged $186.00 for a no show fee, because my American Airlines cancelled my flight at the last minute. I had been in contact with the hotel almost every day before August 1st, ensuring that my room would be held because myself, my daughter, and my three year old granddaughter was coming in on a 9:00 pm flight, and had to drive from Gulfport to Moss Point. The airline cancelled the flight at 11:32 pm. When I got to the hotel on morning of August the 2nd, Dawson the person that I had been talking to throughout the trip told me that I was charged a $186.00 no show fee, and that my reservation was cancelled. I asked for the manager, she could not help me then I asked for the general manager. After having a lengthy conversation about why I am was charged a no show fee. He decided that he could take half off the no show fee which would have been $93.00. I told him that I had all the information to prove that the flight was cancelled in Charlotte NC, and that me, my daughter and my grand daughter had just slept in a filthy airport floor because American Airlines cancelled our flight at 11:32, which was originally set to leave at 4:15. The general manager finally agreed to only charge me $50.00 for the no show. How’re when I look at my bank statement I was still charged for 3 nights which included the no show fee because I only slept in the hotel on August 2nd and August 3rd. HORRIBLE

Horrible

It started off bad when i got there to check in they had lost my reservation. I made this reservation at least 3 months in advance and still had my confirmation # .The girl at the front Jessica was rude and very unprofessional. She instisted it was not the hotels fault it must have been mine, she said i must have been mistaken and made my reservation for some other hotel. I finanlly got a room but of corse at a HIGHER RATE than what i had reserved. I get into my room and walked in and it has this mold and sewage smell. Since the hotel was booked i could not switch to another room or so the rude x said. I asked for housekeeping to come spray air freshner or something to help the smell. I waited for about an hour and a half before they came so i called back down and transferred to a housekeeper named Leah she was suppose to be a manager but she was also rude. She told me that they are busy and since i checked in early i would have to wait till they can get to me and it may be another hour. I was very unsatisfied. On top of that the fridge in the room did not work ,the carpet was wet by the a/c , the microwave had someones left over food in it, x hubert the GM said there is nothing he can do and if i dont like it stay somewhere else . This hotel is ran by a bunch of incompitant and rude people i will never stay here or any other Holiday again
