This was a little hole in the wall place with shady electricity. The lights kept flickering giving me a headache. Bed was uncomfortable and walls are thin. The employees at the store were blocking the parking lot exit for hours. I went to bed listening to the neighbors singing. I guess they were helping me fall asleep.

Front desk (gas station) was a little rushed and curt, check in and check out was a little odd. Overall decent room, and value. Would stay again in a pinch.

Get what you expect.

Room was clean and had the expected amenities. Check in was quick (in the gas station market) and check out online was fast.

The Owner Ran Them All

The owner ran a couple of businesses - a gas station, a grocery store, a hardware store, a motel, a food truck, and a laundromat with showers. Therefore, we checked in at the grocery store. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable for a good night sleep. We asked for a quiet room and got one behind the store building. It did shield out lots of highway noise. We took a walk after dinner in the nice neighborhood.

Walk inside your room before you pay. You tell me.

The primary business here is a gas station convenience store. The hotel is definately an after thought. People seemed nice enough but the room was in desperate need of paint, the power lights, tv etc. Flickered all night and even went dark once. Evening shower was fine, morning shower ran out of hot water a minute in. The a/c worked fine though. And the original room they gave me was out back next to the laundry and maintenance room. Nothing bad as far as people go, but the hotel here is not good.

The toilet would not flush right, and the lights flickered on and off and the plug-ins in the bathroom did not work.

Super fast check in. They just asked my name and handed me my key. Less than 30 seconds. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Checkin is at the general store in front of the rooms so you can get groceries and snacks as well as fuel all within feet of your room. Also prices room prices are very affordable compared to other locations in Bishop or Independence. I highly recommend
