Bienvenido a nuestro lugar enclavado en el campo. Donde esperamos que pueda pasar su tiempo relajándose, disfrutando del paisaje y la abundancia de vida silvestre. Despiértate con el sonido de los pájaros cantando, el ganado y los caballos que trotan en una tranquila mañana de campo. Espere ver a los ciervos que pastan en la propiedad, aparentemente sin darse cuenta de espectadores del todo cuando el sol comienza a salir y quema el rocío de la mañana. Nuestro lugar está recién remodelado y listo para su estadía.

Ark Encounter

Beautiful place to stay. Peaceful but not to far from amenities. Kids loved the friendly farm animals across the road. Everything worked and loved that the owners had salt and pepper and other kitchen basics. Loved the fire pit and first time two of the little ones made s’mores. I would come back in a heartbeat. Easy drive.

Ark Encounter visit

This property was a perfect in between place to stay while visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. The hosts raise Scottish Highland cattle. We were able to book a last-minute encounter at their barn, which was a really fun addition to our itinerary.

Conference Stat

We were in the area for a conference. The property was clean, well cared for, and when there was a minor mechanical difficulty, the host was on hand, and got it cared for in very good time. Beautiful, quiet location; a very nice stay. Thanks!

Perfect Family Getaway

We were a group of 7 adults who stayed at Country's Edge for a trip to tour The Ark, Creation Museum, and Underground Railroad Freedom Center. This home provided the perfect setting for our "home base" during our trip and was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the beautiful scenery in the country and getting to meet the cows and donkeys in the pasture across the street. The host was quick to respond when we had questions and was very friendly. All in all, a wonderful getaway for our family.

Perfect Spot

We enjoyed our stay house was exactly as described. We went to the farm to be entertaining by the animals. Family is so nice and loves and cares for the animals. I knew it was a farm but didnt know they had Highlands we want to go back cows

Ark Encounter trip

Property was close to the Ark, but out in the country. Farther away from stores, restaurants, beautiful scenery, accommodations were good, very clean and neat. We had a great long weekend stay there.

Beautiful country setting.

We enjoyed both the location and the place. Nice view of sunsets and sunrises. Even had some sheep in the back yard. House was clean and well equipped. We read the entrance code wrong and texted the owner and he was there in less than 5 minutes. We highly recommend this place. Owners are very friendly.

Great accommodations for our family vacation

Great home, well kept, and perfect for our family vacation over spring break. It was extremely quiet! Lots of extras in the home to make it more comfortable. We spent time in Lexington, Cincinnati, creation museum, and ark encounter. This was a good central location. Black and white cat came and hung out one night. The kiddos loved that. One morning sheep were hanging out in the yard as well. Roads to the home were curvy for these straight road Midwesterners. But provided great views and scenery. Thank you so much for the ease of making this part of the trip go flawlessly.

Destination Christmas

There were six of us that stayed. The youngest was 12 and the oldest was 73. The property was as described. We lived the remoteness of it. It was so peaceful and quiet. It was a great time to connect as a family away from the “busyness “ of city life.

Comfy, Clean, Peaceful

On a mother daughter road trip, went to see the Ark. This home was nice to come back to and relax, we stayed 3 nights. Only thing was driving on country roads! Lol I'm a city girl and the roads were pretty stressful to me. This is no fault of the home owner, just me. Really nice home and very inspirational. Would definitely stay here again

Great Family Get A Way In The Country Near The Ark

My family and I enjoyed our stay very much. This house and property is wonderful, included lots of extras, and is very clean. My kids ages 2 to 8 all enjoyed this place including hearing and seeing the farm animals, and the outside fire pit. Close enough to the Ark (less than 20mins) but far enough way to be in the country. The owners are great and respond very quickly. I highly recommend making an appointment to visit their farm while you are there also especially if you have kids. They had something for every one of my kids.

Delight

The house was beautiful and sits on a peaceful piece of property. The firepit was so nice at night and woke up to cows and donkey's across the street. Would definately use again. Close to the Ark but far enough away to have peace.

Country Setting

We enjoyed our stay away from the city in the lovely Kentucky countryside. The home was everything we hoped for and we appreciated the calm, assuring styling inside. The sunrise and sunset views as well as watching the farm animals across the road were a plus. We didn’t mind the drives to The Ark and Creation Museum and did a lot of exploring in the nearby towns. We definitely would stay again.

My family stayed there for a weekend while visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. Country's Edge was a great location. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the home. We had plenty of room for the 7 of us. My grandsons enjoyed the Fussball table. They also enjoyed seeing all the animals (cows, donkeys, deer) right across the street. Check in and check out process was easy - no problems. This was my first stay at a VRBO and it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Country's Edge.

College friends' reunion and Ark Encounter visit

Three pretty special close college friends and their spouses met for a few days to catch up and also visit the Ark Encounter. We had such a wonderful time and the house was so cozy and beautiful. It provided a great place to relax. We stayed 2 nights.
