Getting away to the rolling hills of Kentucky was a relaxing, fun experience. We were minutes from Williamstown and the Ark Encounter, and centrally located between Lexington, the Creation Museum, and Cincinnati-about 45 minutes from each. We really enjoyed the deck off the kitchen, the gazebo, and the charcoal grill. Our boys were able to play catch and whiffle ball in the yard even though it slopes a little. It is a short walk to the lake. There is a small but adequate living room. The three main bedrooms are located down the hallway. It was perfect for my husband and me, my sister, and our daughter and her husband. The master bedroom has its own bathroom so the main bathroom serves the other two bedrooms as well as a shower for those who sleep downstairs. Our boys were able to sleep in the basement where there are two single beds, another two single trundle beds, and a futon for a child that folds out. There was a half bath downstairs for them. I would recommend leaving more than six rolls of toilet paper for guests who are staying a week. The kitchen was adequate. The table seats six and the island two, which wasn't enough for our group of ten, but we were able to spill over onto deck. The kitchen was well supplied except for a few items. I would recommend adding measuring cups and spoons, and possibly a larger pot for noodles, a griddle, and a show cooker. We left behind a couple of kitchen towels because we could find only two. We'll miss the beautiful setting.
