I had made a reservation for Marina view room , I got there later at night and they only had a ground level room available , I asked them to change the room they said sorry we are at full occupancy . I could not sleep all night for 2 nights because the room was next to the exit door to the grounds and I was awaken every few minutes from the slamming of the door , during the checkout when I mentioned that the front desk didn’t seem to care and gave me my final bill and I was done . The hotel is not well maintained , the Shower faucet was stuck , the toilet flusher was stuck and I had to push up manually , the entire resort needs to be redone and modernized . This is not what I expected from a Hilton Double Tree after spending over $700.00 for two nights . I understand it was graduation weekend but either way I expected better service and possibly accommodating me by getting me a better room. Honestly I would not stay here next time /

We had a long stay, 10 days, and the staff were kind and friendly and helped us out with a.lot during our 10 day stay. The Marina area is absolutely beautiful, with nature walks and stunning views of the sunset over the Bay. A few things we wished were better, the laundry facilities closed at 10, and we would have liked to have access to them later at night. Also when I had to extend our stay for a day by making a new reservation, our card keys stopped working and we had to get them re-activated after coming back from day out, so that could have been smoother. Those two things aside, out stay was glorious.

We had trouble getting 3 towels for 3 guests - the housekeeping staff had no large towels to give us the morning we arrived, although we did finally receive 3 towels by our 2nd night at the hotel. Strange for a hotel not to have any extra large towels on the housekeeping dolly. We also had only 1 glass in our room for 3 people, so we used our coffee cups for glasses. Plus I had called in advance more than once to make sure there would be an extra cot in our room and was assured it was no problem- but when we arrived we were told our room could not fit a cot and when we asked to be moved to a room that could accomodate a cot, we had to pay $20 extra a day. Breakfast was not included without a voucher from the front desk, which of course our room was not entitled to - this wasn't clear from signage about breakfast set up throughout the property. The restaurant was very expensive, including $20+ omelettesm not including coffee -Disappointing! The hallway walls had scuff marks and the elevator signage was missing letters. None of this was impressive. The parking lot for Building 4 where we were eventually housed, was so bumpy - it was like driving on a roller coaster. Also, strange for a property that claims to be a hotel "by Hilton." The whole experience was quite disappointing. It made me wonder how long this Doubletree plans to stay in business. Good luck!
