Booked a room for 3 people. 1 king and sofa bed and the room didn’t have sofa bed. They were just like “oh well” and blamed it on Expedia but my resv clearly said king and sofa bed. They were booked so we stayed one nite and left. Staff very unprofessionally dressed.

Extremely glad to have used one key credit for this $300 room. We had the 2 beds and sitting area with Bay view. The couch was ripped on the legs and so gross and uncomfortable. Holes in walls by beds and just needing updating . Would not pay the price they want for what you get ! Staff at front desk had no personality and very monotone ! Should show some energy and be pleasant with guests.

They charge $25 for parking now. There was blood splattered all over the room so we had to move. The next room was also dirty and had windows were so filthy you could barely see out of them. Sad because I’ve stayed here in the past and it was great. Not sure why it has gone down hill.

My stay at Sonesta was great! Was checked in by Elias, who was very nice and informative. Even got an upgraded room with a view of the Bay. The hotel has great amenities including a nice bar. The bartender was amazing and engaging, I forgot his name, but the drinks were top tier. Parking was also easy. Definitely recommend for an affordable and nice stay in the Bay area.

Overall the condition of property is okay, few items can use some improvement. WiFi didn’t work the first day, sink was not working properly (kept closing down, had to pull up with finger), weird smell in the shower, bathroom.
