We like nice hotels and wanted to splurge a little while on a small road trip and opted for the Presidential King Suite with a separate bedroom, but with enough room in the living room for the kids. We had been traveling a few days, but were only a few hours from home, and intended to sleep in late and rest up. There was a little glitter on the couch and ottomans, but other than that the room was clean and comfortable. The issue arose in the early morning hours (7:30-8:00) with tremendous banging and oscillating multitool sawing from directly beneath our bedroom. It turns out the entire 3rd floor is currently under extensive renovations (the Presidential Suite is in the 4th). To make matters worse, the workers accidentally set off the fire alarm at around 8:00am. Needless to say, sleeping in was out of the question. I understand that renovations are sometimes needed, and the noise can’t be helped. The staff was gracious and kind. My only complaint, is that nowhere in the hotel booking information, was a disclaimer about current projects, and warning of potential interruptions. Neither was the price adjusted accordingly. So essentially, We paid well over $200 for 3 or 4 LESS hours of sleep than we intended (and NEEDED!) Again, the local staff was attentive and kind, but on checkout we were also informed that no reduction in rate would be possible since we booked and paid through a 3rd party (Expedia). All in all a very disappointing morning.

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The room was moldy, dead cricket on the floor, heater for the pool wasn’t working, so we were not able to use the pool, I chose this hotel because it had a pool, and we were not able to use it. My bed frame was broken, so I had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. The bathroom door did not close, the second room was also moldy. Hotels.com was not able to get a full refund for me, because they said the hotel denied my request. I sent Hotels.com videos and pictures of the room, and even after that they were not able to secure a refund for me, seriously, super disappointed and will not be using Hotels.com anymore and I’ve been a long time customer, after this experience, I no longer have confidence in Hotels.com.

The first night the air conditioning system would not work at all. I reported it that night and again the next morning. There were humidifiers all down the hallway and the wallpaper was peeling off, so they knew they were having issues. On the 2nd day I come back to the hotel and ask if repairs were made, they said no it was more than their repair man could handle and didn’t bother cleaning the room that day. I spoke to a very nice manager and he said they would refund one night of the stay and move my room. They moved me to the far other end of the floor, I got settled in and sure enough the air conditioning would work. Both nights the unit was set at 65, never got below 74. I was very upset when I went to leave and asked at check out for an updated receipt since the manager said he would refund one night. The clerk said she couldn’t do that since booked thru a 3rd party. Even though the hotel looks decent, it has many issues in the rooms. I had stayed here 2 weeks prior as well, on a different floor and the toilet had issues flushing, the sink backed up and when we went to call the front desk the phones did not work.

For the reviews and the price I expected better. Thick dust in the room (bathroom door jam), bathroom moisture damage, scuff marks everywhere, terrible mattress, room door slams shut, peanuts from previous guest in room on floor upon check in, pool use wasn’t convenient, broken tile all over. Just was not impressed, even with light construction… it’s wasn’t well maintained.

Elevators were out of order so had to walk through the employee area to the service Elevator. The employee area smelled of sewer water. The jacuzzi was also out of order. The walpaper in the hallway was peeling off in several places and in some of those places it was scotch taped up. Some of our bedroom lights did not work, our bathroom shower had no pressure what so ever. There were people who pulled up at midnight in the back ready to rob cars until my husband flashed a spotlot and we honked very loudly. They took off very quickly. The breakfast is not worth $16, it is the same breakfast you get at most hotels for free with your stay. The list keeps going, but i feel this is enough to make my point. I am not usually one to vomplain, but this was not at all worth the amount charged to stay. We will never stay here again or recommend it to any of our friends or family. I have stayed at many Hilton's and been to many business conferences at Hilton, this was the only Hilton I have ever had a complaint about.

Broken heater,dirty bathtub,very limited amenities,exit door lock was broken so it’s unsafe.Room smelled like pee.I tried to sleep the next day but got woken up because of room service,even though i left the do not disturb sign.What i loved about it is ,the location and how close it is to restaurants and stores.The front desk ladies were very friendly and helpful and the cleaning ladies as well.
