small room experience

Trip with daughter...shared room... Not good! Stains on carpet and room desperately needed painted and FRESH furnishings! Spoke to staff concerning unacceptable conditions and they gave us 2 rooms the next day. They had overbooked hotel and seemingly gave us the last room.

Shanshui Boutique Hotel - Option to be considered

Hello, I was on couple of days tour to Beijing and had checked in to this hotel. First of all Hotel staff was nice and cooperative. Rooms were good, clean and well equipped for short stays. Location wise hotel is very good because you get public transport to go to almost all main Beijing tourist spots - if not direct then by 1 or 2 change but yes transportation is almost door to door. For local food lovers many options available down the street. However, after being at Beijing I realised aome better or similar options were available at lesser rates. So compared to that hotel rates were little higher. Overall satisfied and I recommend this hotel.

Very small room + little attention from hotel

The standard queen's side bedroom was much much smaller than shown in the pictures on the website -- I'd recommend that you choose the deluxe room even if there're only two of us. There wasn't any place to put the luggage or anything (as there wasn't even enough space for two people to stand at the same time in the room unless one of them is on the bed). Also, we had a difficult experience with the hotel staff who refused to change a hairdryer for us as the one in our room was not working. We also spent a lot of time trying to get the hotel to check us in. The neighborhood was nice and vibrant.

对于我这次行程，酒店位置很好，但是内部环境就一般般了，我在一楼，有些潮湿。服务水平也还过得去吧。酒店能做到按照客人要求清洁卫生，前台服务水平略逊，房间内部设施齐全，但是面积很小，也就适合一个人住了。
