Just what you expect from a cheap hotel. It was ok for a night.

The hotel was set up with central heat nut the rooms weren't heated. Perhaps the heat had been turned off for the year, but it was chilly. Luckily there was a hot shower to warm up and hair dryer was available from the front desk. Bed mattresses were Chinese = very hard.

OK For Long Layover

Pros: Convenient, straightforward, and inexpensive.
Cons: Simply shuttle bus calling. Make hotel entirely non-smoking. Westernize the bathroom. Add traps to floor drains.
Location: Convenient to the airport.
The hotel is clean, straightforward, and relatively modern, but geared for Chinese rather than westerners. For example, the bathroom does not have a shower stall or tub, so water splashes everywhere in the bathroom. The sheets are colored and not the white sheets that are typical in a western hotels. The staffs English is not particularly good. It would be very difficult to call for the shuttle bus if we didn't know Chinese. We had to call the hotel first, get the number for the shuttle bus, and call the driver ourselves. The clientele, judging from the shuttle bus passengers, seem to be native Chinese. Even though it was a non-smoking room, I did notice some low level smell of smoke. Its possible that there are lot of smokers in the hotel while we were there. We notice low level sewer smell common in the bathroom. This is common in many hotels, upscale and economy, in China. This is likely due to the lack of trap in the floor drain common in Chinese construction. For us, we have facility with Chinese and are used to Asian style living. We would have trouble otherwise. For a family of 4, the room worked out wonderfully: 2 adjoining rooms with 2 beds each and 1 bathroom. Cheaper and more convenient than 2 separate rooms.
