"Wow what a house!!! So much more than we were expecting. It had a lovely welcoming, homely feel and had everything you could have asked for. The kitchen was incredible and very well stocked. Plenty of fire wood which we made use of all sat round in the grand living room. My Sons loved playing the piano and all the kids enjoyed playing hide and seek and running around in the grounds. It really was the perfect place for the family to come together and spend quality time making some very special memories. Andy was an excellent host. Great communication answering all my queries and sending through lots of additional information. We also booked a meal at the piebald inn in the town it was really good the pies were huge and delicious and all the staff very friendly. We can’t wait to return some day. "

"The owners are very friendly and helpful, and are also very nice people. Everything is spotless. Beds are very comfortable and warm. Breakfast is really excellent. Restaurant meals are also really good. The area is really quiet and peaceful. Plenty of private car parking. Will definitely stay there again. "

"Nice B&B with very friendly staff. No on-site dining other than (very good) breakfast but several pubs within a very short stroll - 1 to 2 minutes and Yorkshire coast town Filey just 3 miles drive away. Also a very good distillery with excellent cafe on the edge of the village"
