First, Hilton did not have my reservations as indicated by Travelocity, thank goodness there were availability, however, due to Travelocity’s I had to pay an additional $20 for my room per night, they workday not give me the price I had booked the room for through Travelocity. The elevator was not working properly and scared my daughter and I tremendously on one of our trips up and when arriving in the room after the scary elevator ride I wanted to report our experience but our cell kept dropping and the telephone the room did not work. The outlets in our room did not work either. These issues were not reported at my checkout because no one was at the desk to check me out, our waiter from the breakfast area had to come to the desk, after looking for the desk clerk asked me if I was okay with receiving my receipt via email, she write a note to the desk clerk to check me out. I must comment that the breakfast was delicious and the service in the breakfast area was delicious. I would also like to point out as a Southern Alumnus I was disappointed not to see any regalia representing Southern University anywhere in the hotel. Southern is minutes down the street and I’m sure during football season Jaguar patrons fill this hotel. Any hotel near or around lsu displays emblems, banners, etc. signifying tiger country. I’m curious why in Jaguar Country the same is not displayed????

What we liked about the property is the staff and their attentiveness also we liked the spaciousness and decor of the room and comfort especially the shower😀😀😀 loved loved it. To cap off the total experience is the dinner we had, we love seafood and that lady chef was the bomb .com😀😀😀 she can really throw down on some seafood but all the food was good, fresh, tasty and hot and prices are very reasonable. We've already started planning our return next month and let me not forget to mention the breakfast, it's😘😘😘😘😘😘😘😘 that good: butter biscuits, bacon, sausage, eggs your way and hash brown(homemade) and the grits 😍😍😍😍😍 pancakes, sausage and a whole lot more, that breakfast was LIT !!! and more than ample portions too. I'm gonna have to hit the treadmill y'all but you have to treat yourself now and then. The hotel stay was worth the price and it's a very nice one near the airport, near stores for shopping. I've stayed there several times and I'm always looking forward to it. We don't even consider any other hotels to stay at

Staff commented on us getting take out instead of eating at property grill was a bit rude. Also no vending machines or working ice machines. Had to get ice from staff which I did not like.

Room was dirty, no shower curtain, water in bathtub, surfaces visably grimy. It was "the only room" even though i booked 2 days in advance. I told staff these issues, no compensation.

Pool was gross the hot tub didn’t have any water in it. There was a nasty food trey in the hall from the time we checked in at noon from the time we stepped over it as we left to check out at 8am the next morning. Crap on the elevator buttons in the floor. Knew it was under renovations and didn’t mind that, it was the nasty conditions the hotel kept
