At the time we were there, there was extensive road construction and sidewalk construction in front of the hotel. That was beyond the hotel's control --- however, no compensation or assistance was offered by the property to deal with the inconveniences we encountered.

Great location. You can not find better location than this in Gothic Quarter. Subway station is just in front of the hotel and there are lots of shopping and dining locations around. Area is not quiet because it is a touristy area. So we had noises from street until 1 AM every night. Staff are very polite and friendly. They help and answer questions kindly also have luggage storage option which is very good. Breakfast buffet was very good with lots of options to choose. Our room was newly renovated and very clean. The only thing that I can recommend to management for the improvement is to put coffee maker machines and water bottles in the room. Thank you to the hotel staff for the good experience that they made for us.

Good location, not the best hotel.

Good location. 20 mins taxi from airport. 5 min walk onto Ramblas. 8 minutes taxi ride to cruise port. Starbucks close to hotel. Room was tiny, actually looked like a converted storage room, bed uncomfortable. I would not choose to stay here again.

Great central location!

Excellent location, right next to a metro stop and centrally located a stone’s throw from La Rambla. The downside was there was a church nearby whose bell struck very loudly every 15 minutes which meant (being on the 5th floor) we could hear it very clearly even through ear plugs! The skylight blinds weren’t operating in our room but we closed them manually. The room (and hotel) was small but ideal as a pied a terre for exploring the city. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful.

The location is excellent. The metro is right outside the front door and busses right on the street in front, that we used a lot. The room was quite nice and clean, except for the shower that was a bit gross with black on the caulking and grout, needing a proper scrub. The breakfast was excellent and the staff always polite and helpful. The problem was with the air conditioning. We complained twice and they supposedly fixed it twice but it was just too warm in the room. They gave us a fan which helped us sleep, but unfortunately I wouldn’t stay there again in the summer.

We stayed at a quadruple room for 3 nights. The room was very spacious and it was clean. Air conditioning worked great despite the heat wave in Barcelona. The location is excellent as all the popular sites are within walking distance. Lots of options for dining around the area. Will certainly book again.

The hotel is located at the heart of the Gothic Quarter .I love convenience of the Matro station is right in front of the Hotel and restaurants, shops are close by. I especially like the bakery next door, freshly baked croissant every day.
