Beautiful and historical property in the center of Barcelona. Lacking some amenities and level of service that we would expect from a 5 star hotel, particularly from the Relais & Chateaux group. Running out of hot water after 1 person showers (10 min) is unacceptable. 2 out of 5 days the “please make up our room” sign got “flipped” and the room was not cleaned. No amenities in the room like cotton swabs or shower caps etc. And refillable containers with out a dispenser spout meaning you have to stick your hand inside to scoop out your lotion of conditioner presents a contamination hazard.

The Hotel Neri was a stunning place to stay. The rooms and reception area were beautiful, concierge very helpful and knowledgeable (excellent recommendations and actually walked us to the restaurant). The Neri is an old palace that was renovated and is in the Gotica (Old Town) of Barcelona. It is a beautiful space. The location is great, surrounded by places to see and shopping. The hotel has a wonderful staff, and the restaurant is top-notch. I have been travelling to Barcelona for years and always stayed here.
