The room was clean and tidy, included toiletries in the bathroom and was in the centre so a perfect location. The staff at the hotel were so friendly and accommodating for my young children, would recommend and will be staying here again given the opportunity.

The hotel is in a really good location. The room we stayed in was small and basic, but clean and comfortable, and the service we received for most of the stay was excellent. On the final day we were hurried out of the room - the cleaner knocked shortly before checkout time and conveyed that we needed to leave quickly (we were due to leave before checkout time anyway). We were also a bit surprised to be charged 6 euros to leave three bags at the hotel for a couple of hours after checkout.

If you want to be central in a clean safe hotel this is the place , yes it’s basic but it has everything you need , aircon to keep you cool, safe for your personal items and a piping hot shower … ideal

This is a great location! The front desk staff is friendly. The housekeeping staff is very serious and isn’t the friendliest person there. The room and bathroom are very small. The AC works fast and great! There are no small refrigerators in the rooms. TV gets a lot of channels and lots of shopping and dining options. This is a great low cost option with limited amenities.The elevator worked well during our stay.

The 2 stars on Staff and Service is not because they were not friendly and courteous. They are very nice and always said hello when I came in and out. When I checked in they told me the city taxes portion of the bill had to be paid in cash. I knew ahead of time this would be extra fee that wasn't included in the bill, so that was fine. I didn't know that it HAD to be paid in cash. All of the hotels my friends stayed at, they all just added to the charges and paid with their credit cards (I found that out later). But...I was going to need cash anyway so I worked it out. THEN....I asked for a safe and was told it would be $2 extra. Fine. But I WASN'T told at the time that it ALSO had to be in cash. So the night before checkout I was told about it having to be in cash when I had already spent all my Euros! So the next morning I had to waste more upcharges and fees to take out just the $8 I needed. I had to spend $20 to get 8 euros when they should have told me the first night the safe fees were also cash. This was the only reason I gave such a low rating. It's a very simple hotel with value for the low cost, but that was not cool doing that. They need to be upfront with everything.

Very basic 1 star hotel, with a huge price ($250/night) because of the yearly, huge ( 80,000 people) tech conference in early March. Best thing was the wonderful location. It was clean, front desk staff were very helpful. Room was extremely small, with a singlebed next to the wall. You have to carry your bag up many steps, before the elevator, but staff carried it for me up to the next floor, to my room. The outdoor bell, on the right with all the buzzers, to open the street level door, is directly under the Hotel sign on the left, immediately below it, but it doesn't look like a buzzer! Starbucks is a 2 min walk, and Placa Catalunya is 5 mins.

No elevator!!!!!! Almost impossible to get all our luggage up. Tiny room with ancient bedspreads. Pulls on cabinets all broken. Safe but no key. Had to leave room key at desk which we didn’t like. No coffee. Only positive was location and staff..
