Perfect home for our family of 6 visiting sugar mountain for the first time. You can see the base where the ski school is located and watch as people load onto the ski lift. There is a very short path to a wooden bridge that crosses a babbling creek over to the slope making this a nice ski out to your room. One of the three bridges is broken, but the one close to the condo is fine. (not sure if you can hop on and off this way but can definitely take a break and ski off the slopes) the two first floor bedrooms were nice and big w very comfy mattresses. The two bunk beds in the upstairs room made it fun for the kids to sleep in although our two youngest ended up sleeping on the pullout couch in the living room instead so they can watch tv. Plenty of pots and pans for cooking. No condiments except salt and pepper but no worries as the food lion is about 7-10 minutes drive from the condo (would recommend maybe seeing what’s in the condo before going out to make your grocery shopping). A few standard restaurants within 10 minute drive, we liked the town tavern. They provide a starter kit (small sponge, dish soap, 2 packets of dish washing powder, one laundry detergent, two small sets of shampoo/conditioner/small bar of soap, one roll of paper towel, 2 trash bags, 4 rolls of toilet paper). Nice tall ceilings in the living room made it feel roomie. Plenty of sitting areas, table for 6 for dining. Board games and puzzles. Would stay again!
