Yumori is a gem. With a beautiful renovation and friendly staff, you can enjoy a hot springs hotel at a bargain price. My lovely tatami room was so comfortable. Take your own food off arriving late. The share kitchen is wonderful.

Hotel Route Inn Aizuwakamatsu
Location is a little far from the station, 25 win walk, but it had a (small) onsen. Hotel site says there is a convenience store ten minutes away, but there’s actually a large supermarket right next to the hotel and open till 10pm.

Room is big but a bit old hotel. The hotel guest can enjoy the early ski at 0800 to get up the mountain.
