"We stayed at Novotel Vieille Ville, Nice for two weeks, and were completely satisfied with the hotel. All the staff, from Reception, Dining Room, and Bar were helpful, courteous and efficient. Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard. It had good sound insulation, so we were not disturbed by other guests or outside noise. The drinking water dispenser situated near the lift was very helpful, as it provided guests with clean chilled water 24 hours per day. The hotel is modern, well decorated, and has a welcoming atmosphere, whether you are arriving for the first time, or are returning from a day's outing. The Breakfast room offers a good selection of food, which was adequate for us, but guests with bigger appetites may disagree. My recommendation here is for there to be proper cups for coffee, rather than the glass tankards, which seemed a little odd to have in a dining room. Evening meals were served in the same area, and we dined there five or six times. The food was well cooked, but a bigger menu choice would have been appreciated. The Swimming Pool appeared to be under-used with no staff in attendance, and so no refreshments were available. The location is away from the city centre, which we thought might present a problem as some surrounding areas appeared dubious, but the proximity of Tram Line 2 at 300 metres away, and the numerous buses allayed our concerns. Overall, a good hotel to which I would return David, (England)"

"The view was absolutely beautiful, but the rooms are tight and definitely need some updating. Also, the amount of tourists that are walking through the hotel every single day became quite annoying. We would have to walk through crowds just to get back to our room or to have a cup of coffee and the staff doesn’t know who’s a guest of the hotel versus who is a tourist so we kept getting stopped saying oh this is for hotel guests only meanwhile we were hotel guests. The concierge was very helpful and the food at the restaurant was excellent. I stayed with my husband and we are both 30 years old and in shape and we were exhausted walking to and from our room every day with the amount of steps and stairs so be prepared for that as well. Overall, a beautiful hotel but wish I knew about the tourists and the walking/stairs."

"My son and I stayed here for 2 nights to rest up after busy days at the Monaco Grand Prix. It was a terrific decision. The hotel is situated on the very edge of a mountainside looking down over Monaco and along the Mediterranean. The views are spectacular. A great place to take in the scenery is from the gorgeous infiniti pool. The rooms are spacious and luxurious. There is a choice of on-site restaurants with the option to dine outside with a view. Staff are extremely courteous and eager to help. The hotel operates a shuttle service to/from Monaco which is about a 15 minute ride. This hotel may be at the very upper end of the price range, but we feel that we received proper value. We treated ourselves and were very happy that we did."

"Staff were really nice and everything was neat and tidy. We found it a little hot at night under the doonah/duvet even with the aircon on, so maybe having a top sheet on the bed as well so guests can choose doonah or sheet would be perfect. Really loved our time in Menton and the hotel was a perfect location! Would definitely stay here again 😊"
