The refrigerator in the room did not work, it was never restocked during my stay and I had a swim suit top that ended up missing from the bathroom. I asked the cleaning lady she said she would ask but never got back to me. It also states the you get a bottle of wine per day but the never happened plus the one bottle you get I couldn’t open it because there was no wine opener. I won’t stay there again

The #1 thing I wish I would have known is this is a VERY eco friendly resort. Don’t get me wrong I’m all for it, but I would love to have had a water bottle/paper towel/straw option at any point. Instead you’re offered glass bottles to be filled up (by filtered water that just wasn’t my cup of tea for taste wise). The rooms are exactly as pictured, the bars are a bit misleading for the photos pictured on Expedia for example the roof top bar is completely changed (still beautiful) The food was good, you had a buffet/mexican and hibachi option. The hibachi was really good! There was not a lot of staff so rarely were you served by the pool, drinks were very mediocre and watered down. Otherwise very clean resort any issues we had were solved almost immediately! Book the transportation option through Expedia it was wonderful and soooo easy!! It might seem expensive but getting a taxi will be the same price with much older smaller cars. Otherwise this was a beautiful resort.

We enjoyed our stay thought the property thought the property is starting to show sign of repairs needed on the sidewalks and concrete areas. Didn’t like the soliciting of the time share for other Iberostar properties. Especially after traveling for 11 hours and I want to get to my room and rest and relax and enjoy the oceon view that part of the trip really turned me off

Property setup easy to get around. Wedding facility and view was beautiful. Activities plentiful. Steakhouse and prime rib has no prime rib which was disappointing. The flatiron and filet steaks were thick. Ribeye was maybe 1/2”. Buffet was good. Liked the ceviche. Other resorts & cruises have great burgers and fries which lots of people liked. We did not care for here.

stinky pillows not replaced despite requests. excellent buffet with seared ahi tuna! new system great as reservations not required for the a la cartes except the japanese. first come first served & waiting lists usually about 45 minutes & paged by text. churros available but not freshly fried like in the past & no mexican fiesta with traditional games. steakhouse new york strip with chimichurri so good. japanese could learn from other tepanyaki ginger & sesame sauces. no tamales or enchiladas at the mexican. tacos poolside were a treat! 24 hour starcafe had cappuccino, chai latte & pastries. usually boogie boards available for borrowing but here private co lets you buy ratchet but functionable boards & buys them back for $20. lifeguards lovely & tell you about the surf conditions to save you before you hit the waves! activities fun, dance lessons, aqua size, yoga & bingo. shout out to moni, marco polo and carlos for friendliness. traditional seed bead craft included. pool will be heated next month;(. evening show tickets expensive at $99/person. (never had to pay at other resorts.) higuera golf course next door fab & transport in golf cart included (we tipped). pool tables busy. cues and balls lent at reception if you leave id. wonderful wrist band with room key attached & no towel card required very helpful! coke zero & sprite zero in mini fridge! coco chases grackles. despite the pillow thing, our second time here & the quality of the food will likely draw us back.

Average stay. The food wasn't great and there wasn't a very large selection at the buffet. You can't make reservations at any of the restaurants so sometimes you can't get into eat until very late. We went for New Years, we had planned to go to the night club but at the door we were told it was $50 per person to get in, because they had dancers and a bunch of activities. We ended up paying $50 for 2 people and there were only 2 other people in the bar! It didn't end up getting busy at all. There was no indication previously that we would have to pay extra to get into to a part of the all inclusive we already paid for. It wasn't horrible it was just an average stay.
