We were disappointed in for the first time ever we had to pay extra for a accessible room . We had advised the staff my husband needed a walk in shower .We felt penalised because of disability . Age did reduce the price slightly but we felt it unfair

Hotel cleanliness and decor was excellent. Breakfast quality was very good but no hot food options. Only complaint was that too many tables were not cleared after use and so I was forced to share with another solo traveller.

"We enjoyed our stay here … check-in was easy and quick. All the staff members we interacted with were friendly, professional and kind. The breakfast was good and the staff worked diligently to keep everything stocked and clean.
The rooms are very small but up-to-date and comfortable. As with other hotels, only shampoo and body wash is provided (no hair conditioner or lotion). Happily, Kleenex tissues are included, as is a hairdryer. Ice is available in the lobby. We did not try the lounge bar but it looked inviting.
The location is walkable to the main sites in Trier - about 20 minutes thru nice neighborhoods. There is a nice walking trail along the river behind the hotel with a restaurant or two."
