Comfortable and easy

We had an amazingly lovely time in this beautiful old house. It has just the right amount of modern conveniences to make it comfy while the ambience is all there. There's a Japanese vibe in the bathroom with a soaking tub set on polished stones.

Charming and comfortable older home

We loved our stay at this place. It was spacious and clean. New appliances, large kitchen, comfortable beds, antiques, excellent Heating and Cooling. The location is busy but close to town and the highway. We were able to walk to the store, restaurants, shops. Everything was as described. I would definitely return in the future.

Lovely getaway

This was a charming home, lovely decorations, very clean, and minimalist. The communication with the hosts was excellent! As mentioned in the description of the rental, the street can be a little noisy and busy, so if you're looking for nature and escaping the city, this may not be for you. Although, Ayer's Cliff is a little town with few shops, so it makes it feel like you're a bit more isolated than you would be in the city, and we enjoyed that. Note: the indoor fireplace can make the house very smokey, even when the flu is open, so pack some eye drops. Definitely a beautiful place to stay and lovely towns to explore 20 minutes away by car. We were very satisfied with our long weekend escapade. Thank you.

Yearly Massawippi fishing trip

We again enjoyed our stay at the Grey Rabbit house. this time for 2 nights. The house had everything we needed for 5 people Fishing was great with the house being so close to Lake Massawippi We also being able to walk to Auberge Ayer's cliff where we enjoyed to great dinners. Welcoming, comfortable home

Our family of 5 (parents + 3 teens/young adults) enjoyed our stay. The hosts had many thoughtful touches that helped to make our stay comfortable and cozy. The house was immaculately clean. There are laundry facilities and a dishwasher, which are great for a family, especially. One house rule that wasn't mentioned on the listing was that there are no shoes allowed in the house. With the age of the home, many of the floors are uneven/slanted, and all are hardwood or painted wood, which means they can be slippery -- so guests may want to bring a pair of indoor slippers as a matter of comfort and safety. The house is situated very close to the main road and its considerable traffic. Fortunately, the home is air-conditioned, which meant we were quite comfortable inside with the windows closed. Traffic did quiet down at night. The location is very close to the bike trail and within walking distance of a grocery store, as well. The hosts were very considerate, going out of their way to be welcoming and helpful. We had a great week.

Cozy Stay at Cozy Grey Rabbit

The Cozy Grey Rabbit is an historic home with a lot of character. We loved all the windows that face every direction and allow light to come in at different times of the day. It is very clean and well equipped. The owners have provided clear instructions, handy tips around the house and helpful recommendations. The shower is great. It is a super location from which to explore the Eastern Townships - nothing is too far away. The road in front of the home is busy, but the owners inform clients of that in advance. The wifi is strong and reliable. Guillaume and Juliette are excellent communicators who are ready to meet any need and anxious for guests to enjoy their stay - which we did indeed.

Great fishing trip to Lake Massawippi

We headed back to Massawippi this year for our annual fishing trip and stumbled upon the grey Rabbit house as a place to stay. The place was amazing and with three bedrooms allowed us to invite our wives for the one night we stayed. The house is older which added to its charm and we had a great time. Proximity to Ayer's cliff restaurants and a grocery store was great as well as being near the lake. We want to thank Guillaume for being on site and helping us get settled. Great place and we will be back Ron

Mini family reunion; Cozy Grey Cottage provided the perfect spot to rest between outings and meals.

Cozy and convenient!

Even though it was a short stay, we had such a lovely time at Guillaume and Juliette's house. It's exactly as pictured, and they were so helpful, ALWAYS responsive. It was nice to be able to walk to the store--just five minutes away--and a short drive to the beach, as noted. We also loved exploring the area--def recommend going to the Parc de la Gorge, and kayaking at Lac Lyster.

Beautiful spacious historic home

We loved our stay with Guillaume and Juliette! We arrived to small welcoming touches that made us feel right at home. They were responsive and quickly helped us with anything we were needing or answering any questions we had. We loved that there was a 19 km trail across the road where we could walk our dog. The grocery store nearby was very convenient. The beds were comfortable and the tub was big enough to take a soak in. We highly recommend staying here. Thank you G & J!
